College football thread

I had bet Georgia but Williams going down made a big difference. He opens up the field for the other receivers especially Bolden. Great game regardless.
 
well i was partially right...as they say the best plan goes out the window when the first shot is fired and with Williams going down was that shot. Too many FG's not enough TD's kept it close and allowed UGA to still use their ground game..if Bama could have stretched the lead then Bennett would have been asked to do more..as it was he could pick his spots. This was a rebuilding year for Bama, very young and compounded by injuries all year ( 2 x WR's out, 2 starting Corners, 3 RB's, 2 LB's...and a nicked up OL in just the CFP game) so to win the SEC west, the SEC championship and runner up in the NC is an amazing feat of coaching. Next year Bama will be loaded so I hope they get back to the NC. Congrats to UGA, that was one helluva defense this year....and Roll Tide 2022!
