For those in town tomorrow for CTC, the Duke Lacrosse program will be having their annual Alumni activities. The highlight of these activities will be the Alumni/Current Squad game starting at 2:30pm on the turf fields behind Koskinen and the new Blue Devil Tower at Wallace Wade. The star power in that game is every bit of what will be seen in Cameron later that night. You'll have this past years #1 draft pick Myles Jones back on campus along with a large number of professional stars competing against the current team and #1 incoming freshman class. Of note however, recently voted the #3 player in the MLL by his peers and former Duke great, Jordan Wolf, will not play as he is still recovering from his recent hamstring surgery. Amazing to think he played for ten years on a bad hamstring! The beauty of this event being held on the turf fields is you can sit right on the sidelines and get an idea of how fast the game is. If you don't already have an appreciation for the game, seeing it up close will have you hooked. It's basketball on steroids with much more physical play!
