A little off- season trivia gang!

Yep it’s 7. The only one of the 6 Rocky films and 2 Creed films that Sylvester Stallone didn’t write or co-write was the first Creed film. Bonus fact, according to his Wikipedia page he wants to do another Rocky film and another Creed film. You’re up pusgah.

Before Sean Connery was cast in the film Dr. No as James Bond, what Oscar Nominated movie star turned down the role?

No and no. David Niven did play Bond in the non-canon '67 Casino Royale film later on. And while he was considered, he was never officially offered the role of Bond for Dr. No in '62. Reynolds was offered the role in 1970 before they ultimately ended up bringing Sean Connery back for Diamonds Are Forever. Reynolds turned it down because he felt Bond should be played by a British person.

Well, I think the master of suspense is Alfred Hitchcock. If that assumption is correct, then I would guess Cary Grant. I can't see Jimmy Stewart as James Bond.

You got it! Cary Grant was offered the role, but he only wanted to be contracted for one film because he felt that he would be too old to do anymore than just the one. Broccoli and Saltzman didn't want to be searching for another Bond right after the first film. Offering Grant multiple films would've never worked, so he declined the role. It's a fun bit of history in what is a rich one for the franchise. You're up! Oh and Hitchcock is definitely the Master of Suspense!

Thanks bleedit. I would have never gotten it without the hint. My next guess was going to be Michael Caine before the hint. It worked out great that Sean got cast instead. He certainly set a high bar that future actors in the role haven't managed to match.

On Andy Griffith, Ellie Walker wouldn't give Emma Brand her pills. What were the pills and how much did they cosf?

Two part answer. They were sugar pills and I think it cost 1 cents. If I am right on one of them and wrong on the other let the poster who got the other part ask the next question. Of course it doesn't matter if I wrong on both.We need to figure out if there is more than one answer and more than one gives correct answers who goes next. OFC

In the Friday the 13th horror series Jason Voorhees is the well known titular killer made famous from the franchise. However, two of the films in the series he is not the killer. Which two films is he not the killer?

Didn’t expect that one lol..

In Forrest Gump in what city was the bench scenes filmed

This is just a complete wild guess because I haven’t watched Forrest Gump in quite awhile but I’m going to guess Washington D.C.
