Nah, the issue with Christianity is what I said. The people in positions of power convince their followers that this country needs to follow along with the morals from their book.
And on top of that, neither the people in power or the followers actually follow the teachings of their book, they just like to pretend that they are preordained by God to do his bidding here on earth and anyone who doesn’t follow along should be ostracized or worse.
Here’s an example for you, the book of Leviticus, the one where men sleeping with men is referenced, also warns against eating anything from the sea that doesn’t have scales or fins. It’s warns against mixed fabrics. Things that the vast majority of Christians have no issue with.
They pick and choose what to follow based on what gives them the most control over the most people.
Then there’s the other issue of teaching and drilling into your kids heads a worldview that has exactly zero evidence of being true.

The Leviticus stuff you speak of is under the old law.. we aren’t under that.. however sexual immorality is spoken of all over the Bible not just here.. the dietary standard was also for Jews specifically at that time.
