We know the libs love to complain about Trump, but what are your honest thoughts on Biden?

Do you not see a man whose brain is the consistency of grits? Do you watch him attempt to speak? It really is a head scratcher that 6 months in to this inept presidency, that you can still complain about Trump, yet stay silent on mush brain.

You’re attempting to insert logic into a world where logic no longer applies if it ever did. The rules in this alternate reality are simple: orange man bad Democrats good. Only Republicans are capable of being mean,corrupt,or racist (exhibit a, msm coverage of hunter Biden n-word texts)

gotcha. i misunderstood. as for the other comment of yours, there is no doubt that the traitors who breached the Capitol would not have been successful, but that is not the point. They did so to undo the results of the election in order to install the person who did not win in office. You don’t need to be successful to commit and be charged with a crime.

Do you think the Capitol Police and the FBI should be held accountable for their roles in the armed insurrection that came inches from toppling the greatest democracy on earth? Is Nancy even going to investigate that aspect with her committee?

I stopped participating because it is useless trying to reason with you. When you don't like something I say you call me a partisan hack. I am the last of the group to keep trying to get you to accept facts but I am now with the rest of them.

So you don't care about the capitol police who ushered protesters into the capitol or the FBI agents that purposely sat on iformation that could have significantly reduced the chaos. Or the FBI agents that have wrongfully targeted innocent people who were simply attending the rally and were not guilty of any wrong doing.

I am not being ridiculous. I asked you if you wanted all parties to be held accountable. Apparently your answer is no. You just want the trumpers to be held accountable.

I’d have a little bit of respect for you if you tried seeing through objective eyes at all.

Their plans for socialist takeover were seriously derailed. Obama knew Americans don’t want big government but if you do it gradually you’ll end up on the same place. It just takes longer and doesn’t alarm as many people. The incremental approach like the camel and the tent fable Harris reminds me of Obama. Wants the office but not the job

I see she got her talking points from our own @durhamgolfer lying through her teeth about how they inherited the border crisis. She said they have had some improvements over the past 5 months????? I guess if more illegal border crossings and overcrowded cages, I mean facilities each month than the month before is improvement, she could be right.
 
Our President and VP are totally in over their head. Total dysfunction. Their handlers can’t put either one in front of the mic. Right now the media can’t (or won’t) say anything negative about them. They are left playing pocket pool.

Feel bad for NC State baseball. Got completely screwed in their elimination game in the college World Series. Losing 13 players due to “covid protocols” because they tested positive right before the game. What a joke. Kids who are at zero risk, managers who are vaxed, WHY ARE YOU STILL TESTING!?

Agreed. They had decided “Trump is a racist” was their play from the beginning; they knew the economy would boom under his watch and they had to divert attention from that. From seizing on inartful comments (immigrants), editing footage (Charlottesville), and outright lying (the other 99 percent of the time) the dems and msm media were able to Dupe enough gullible swing voters to kinda sorta win the 2020 election

So, I have been watching our new president and while I have some criticisms I will say this, in just 5 short months he has completely and utterly outclassed his predecessor in every conceivable way.

Let's look at some highlights
-The American Rescue Plan: Does what it says on the tin folks. It's kept honest-hardworking Americans off the streets and in their homes with their loved ones, and hey, if Christmas sucked this past season well, now you've got some good ole fashioned cashola to go and stimmy that limping economy...i.e. Buy a Series X or PS5 BABYYYY

-Did you happen to get just little bit tired of the will they-wont they love square with Trump, Un-Senpai, Put-it-in and Zeeeeee? I know I did, and thank God, Biden is not having any of it. Dumping on China, keeping Russia close but not too close and straight up ghosting N. Korea. Dudes got eyes for one gal and one gal only, Europe.

-I know we all love when our elected officials have our military service men and women's back. And wouldn't ya know it, those attacks in the Middle East that @smashmouth5 was whinging about? Yeah those were on stockpiles of weapons used by Iran-backed insurgents, that they had been using to kill our troops. ****ing get 'em Mr. President.

Now, to be the completely and utterly unbiased, totally not blue-tinted shades wearing dem...I mean uh, independent that I am, lets look at some lowlights.

-Racial Unrest is still a very real issue and unfortunately it does not seem that Biden is actually going to address the actual issues that have caused it, and instead would rather do symbolic gestures that ultimately amount to lip-service. And honestly I would go one step further and say he's deepened the divide, if inadvertently so. He's not putting down the general sentiment that seems to be growing among young liberals that white people in general are the issue and he hasn't done anything as of yet to reconcile the racist ills of this country either. And as the face of the liberal party...yeah, let's get on this Joe.

-Another divide that doesn't seem to be closing anytime soon is the D. vs R. And as of right now of course the biggest thing keeping them apart is Covid and the handling of it. While I personally will encourage anyone to get the vaccine, it is ultimately their choice, and you cannot demonize them for making and living with that choice, however I have seen this everywhere. If you havent gotten the vaccine or didn't jump for joy when State was ousted from the College World Series, your a bigot, a Qanoner, murderer and on and on. He needs to address this, and as our President do what he can remove any fears or doubts about the vaccine, along with opening the country up just a bit faster and actually start delivering on the promise of Unity.


Anyway, while he's no Lincoln, calling this administration and President inept is so clearly a farce that it didn't even deserve the sentence i just wrote about it.

Though I appreciate the effort to be as fair and sensible as possible. I completely disagree with your take on the rescue act. We don't need to be inside with our families, we need to be at work. We don't need the federal government giving away (lol) money. We need to stop incentivizing people to not work. This is making more people comfortable with depending on government income. As an independent, the government works for you. As a dependent, the government rules you.

As for the bombings. I fully support them as a preemptive measure against a relatively small group. What I don't approve of is us funding through proxy these same groups. We have a long history of destabilizing the ME to justify bombing them. Not that this is an example of that, I just don't like our money going to sponsors of terror with our ultimate goal being to destroy those terrorists.

See, I thought about putting a few critiques of the Rescue act in there, though I felt my post was getting too long as is. Anyway, while I believe the stimulus checks were needed, I can see how the money could have been put to better use elsewhere, or at least have made them just a little more targeted. They were a little too generous, though for some they were needed.

As for the second part, I find myself in lockstep with you and I hope more of our future efforts go to help installing some sensible leadership in the ME. The ceaseless fighting over needs to well, cease.
