I certainly hope they don't get in. That said, a team like them or MSU probably deserve some benefit of the doubt if on the bubble. Like if it was UNC or South Dakota State, who do you think they go with? But they would be out right now. South Dakota State would have no chance, but UNC just went to the finals. The problem is they have very few good wins.

You can never count them out until it's official though wouldn't it be delicious to be able to say Duke effectively denied them a tournament berth this year given their "desperate" need for a quad 1 win that they could have had Saturday evening. If they lose to UL/BC there is no way they get in. I just don't see it whatsoever even with their name recognition.
Let's pull for BC over UL. Louisville stinks this year and if BC gets by them which they should, while BC is basically a .500 team, I've seen them enough to know they are an absolute PEST. They will scratch and claw, only lost to Duke by 1 point up there. They had been on a three-game winning streak including a 15-point spanking over a top 10 ranked UVA squad until this past weekend. They had to have been disappointed letting a worse GT team win at the Conte Forum. They'd give Carolina a ball game imo. They played each other once, Heels beat them by 8 points in Chapel Hill in January.

Don’t see why not especially if Duke defeats NCAA Tournament teams: Pitt, Miami, and Virginia/NC State to win the ACC Tournament on a Neutral Court.
YES. That would no doubt put Duke in Greensboro for the first weekend. Tourney wants $$$$.

This is the way I see it, right now Duke is a 7 seed.
Win against Pitt in the Quarterfinals = 6 seed
Win against Miami in the Semifinals = 5 seed
Championship Win against Virginia/NC State = 4 seed
This tournament is important for Duke’s seeding in the NCAA Tournament.

Agree here. I think Duke should be all but locked into a 7 seed at worst. I'll be super pissed if we end up in that 8 seed but I've heard nothing to suggest we are going to be anything worse than 7 seed.

About roach....where's he going? He's not getting drafted so is he transferring? I know we have Foster and McCain coming in and I'm hoping Proctor coming back, but does that push him out? I've heard that chatter from others and wondering where folks hear that?

I love the kid, but I don't think he sniffs the second round and prob ends up in the G league, and maybe that's his goal? To get there and hone his game? I don't get it, but the rumors from several trusted posters here from before the season even started was that this was his last year. Strange days for sure.

No doubt, but maybe Roach would just be ready to start his pro career regardless. I doubt it’s set in stone either way at this point what Jeremey will be doing next year.
I have heard from Duke beat writers on DBR that Roach plans to move on. He could change his mind. But if he gets his degree; if he's not an NBA player now he probably won't be in another year. Maybe he wants to go overseas.
I do know we saw a kid who took over last night. It’s fun to watch, even with the mistakes.
Yeah I think we all just enjoy watching roach the next six games (hopefully). He’s been so great for this team and we don’t make the final four last year without him. Love Roach. Will miss him next year bc unless something crazy happens he will not be back.

We're fine either way but there's no doubt it makes no sense for him to go. I think it's likely he could make more money staying in college, and I just can't even imagine him transferring when he is so loved at Duke.
He may be going the Moore route. 3 years and get a degree. Not bad for a top 25 guy. Maybe if we make a deep run he could go second round.
