While checking to make sure that I was remembering correctly that it was the 2001-02 season that they finished 8-20, I noticed something interesting. Charles Doak was the head basketball coach at UNC from 1914-1916 before becoming the head basketball coach at Trinity College aka Duke from 1916-1918.

During halftime of the UNC/VT game they were showing highlights of the Syracuse/Notre Dame game and the female analyst said that Syracuse won 84-83 then they showed the final score and it was actually 84-82 and I don’t think she even realized that she said the wrong score.
