Lost one of the best and my favorite baseball players today, Rickey Henderson. His book Cofessions of a Theif is a good read. My high school graduation gift from my uncle was a Rickey Henderson rookie card.

Oh man that stinks. He was one of the greats. He played for the Yankees as well. 65 is too young. Was he ill?

Had pneumonia.
 
I remember his 130 steal season. I started sliding headfirst to imitate him.
