I hate noon games and will miss this one live. We are back in action after the big L on Tuesday. Not much to say on this one, should be an easy W. Not sure we will be able to gather much from this one.

We are favored by 25.5

Duke- 102
Wofford- 58

If Pat is available, I'd love for us to swap out the whole starting lineup at the first or second tv timeout. Replace them with Pat, Maliq, Gillis, Evans and Harris (assuming Sion is out)
I would love to see this too, I mean WTH? Nice blend of veterans with freshmen who really deserve some burn. I mean we were consistently told how great those freshmen were, right. Give them meaningful (not mop-up), minutes.

Hard to discern how we will come out. Roaring like a tiger or going thru motions? Nonetheless I will pick us to cover, 91-64.

According to Elizabeth King Forum Sion is participating in warm ups but has no jersey. I'm assuming he will be held out for precaution.
Edit: Sion is in the game. Good news
Up 9-2. Proctor has 6 and Kon 3.
All our points have come from 3's.
Now 26-7. Proctor with 9.
At the 10 minute mark 8 have played.

Having big Pat is huge. Even 5 minutes a game or for foul trouble. He is a widebody.
Harris in. We are up 51-14 at the half.
Evans with 8.

Quick scout of Arizona. Their strength seems to be their 3 guards. Love is one of them. One thing that stuck out is their size; 2 seven footers and a few 6-8 guys in the rotation. They just lost to Wisconsin. They seem to be a solid, sweet16ish type team. They have some experience. Should be a good game.

If Evans simply plays half way decent on offense with garbage minutes he’s still gone. He’s got a quick release and I believe we see him in more games . Big Pat still needs conditioning but his awareness to tap the ball back out was good. I think he had four tap outs back to a Duke player .

Backup center (Brown is more of a 4) and scoring off the bench were two things I thought this team lacked to be truly elite.
Pat and Evans check those boxes.

Gillis and Sion can help with points too. I like how on they pointed out that CWell said Brown is to unselfish of a player he’ll literally face the basket but won’t score instead he passes . He needs to score that close to the basket .

Off topic here,

I was a little curious to see how The Blue Devils who transferred out during the off season are doing at their new homes and this is what I’ve discovered so far:

Roach, Mitchell, Blakes, and Schutt are all excelling at their new schools.

Stewart, Power, and Reeves are all struggling at their new schools.

I wish them all the best (with the exception being if/when they face Duke)

Duke will face Schutt (V Tech), Reeves (Clemson), Blakes (Stanford), and Power (Virginia) throughout ACC Play this season.

The only potential for Duke to face Mitchell, Stewart, and/or Roach will be in The NCAA Tournament.

From what I've seen Blakes, Schutt are doing pretty good. Stewart is doing okay, nothing eye popping.(4 points 5 rebounds) Roach had a rough shooting night vs the Zags not sure how else he is doing. Mitchell is doing okay too; 12 and 5. Power not doing much and Reeves just getting mop up minutes. Coleman and Brakefield are doing fairly well, nothing earth shattering.

Coleman averaging 11 and 7. Brakefield 12 and 7. Roach 11 points and 4 assists. Schutt 11 points.
Blakes 14 and 5. Wow good job Blakes.
