Coop should have kept the ball the possession before that too. The possession where Sion had his shot blocked. Coop got hot and single handily got us in the game
Duke does have to prove they can win one of these games down the stretch. All three of their losses have really came down to not making a bucket to win. I think they need one before the tournament to get this monkey off their backs.

Flagg shouldn’t have even been playing . Did you not hear he was under the weather . Yet Duke only lost by what six ? You build for March right ? Dukes front court needed this wake up on both defense and their low scoring .
Still a lot of time to go, but as of today before the loss, we were listed as the third one seed. I think they are one of the top four teams but the ACC is down and we have a total of two more quad one opportunities.

Tough loss, but it’s not a resume breaker. Clemson is an NCAA Tournament Team and were the more physical team tonight. All that said, Gillis was missed tonight. Duke played 9 guys tonight. Maluach fouled out. Had Gillis played tonight Flagg doesn’t play 38 minutes while dealing with cramping issues, also Maluach isn’t fouling out.
All this being said, Duke was still in position to win this game. Proctor played Great, Flagg put the team on his back the last 6 minutes of the game. Thanks to Duke’s Defense they were in the game the whole time.

There are at least 6-7 SEC teams better than Clemson. Maybe more. 10 are ranked higher than Clemson; although they will move up with this win. They have 10 teams in the top 25.

I actually am trying to drink less. So I took the night off, and now I regret it.
So who got hurt because I saw a bunch of security and a line so they could get off the court . You guys are missing the point . It ain’t the court storming ! It’s the lack of defense and scoring off Duke fronts court that was exposed in this game . Chase Hunter had like what ? Ten points ? It’s their centers points that cost Duke the game . No one stopped him .
All of this and they were still in the game until the very end

We'll be fine. February losses happen. I do think we need to beat Illinois to keep that 1 seed. You can't lose to the only 2 top 30 teams you play in 6 weeks.

Purdue is quietly having a good season. St. John's could grab a 2, but they will likely be a 3 or a 4.

They have at least 4 Quad 1 win opportunities left in the regular season, but the loss at Penn State may be too much to overcome
My only complaint is we got out rebounded by 13. The guys played hard, we had one foul out, two playing with 4 fouls, a key reserve out sick, and our best player didn’t get going until the last part of the game.

It was good experience. The SEC teams we will likely see deep in the tournament all play this way. Teams are going to be physical with us; it may be the only way to beat us.
Mal has taken a step back, but Rese has been playing really well. He’s going to be needed in March and gives us a 3rd really good scoring option.
This is just who Mal is at this juncture in his career. My hope is we see the better version come March/April.
Call me crazy, but I'd like to be the last team standing in April.
I agree with Mac that Duke Needs to make sure they do not get out rebounded again moving forward.

Some of our guys were just a step slower than usual tonight. It makes you wonder how widespread this flu is on the team. We didn't switch nearly as well as we usually do.
I think his biggest issue is that he hasn’t gone up against too many teams that are big, physical, and decent.
He’s got to play a little meaner.
I agree. I want to see him take it to everyone down low in the post. Several times tonight he was out of position too.
Mal is probably best playing 20 minutes. He makes good plays, but there are also times he looks lost. We could have used Gillis tonight.
Hopefully, we will get over this sickness and begin another win streak. I'd love to see us get 17 straight this time.
In the 19:42 Maluach was on the court, Duke outscored Clemson by 10 points.
