Gillis reminds me of Theo with his physicality. He's smaller, but can play more minutes than Theo, who dealt with bad knees.

Nice to have tough freshmen and battle tested grown men. A mucked up game like that would have been more dangerous for some of dukes more recent past teams.
Chris, I hear you, but good lord the Lions have been atrocious for years. So, yeah, I feel bad for Lions fans. A one seed, 15-2 record, and the injuries on defense were just too much to overcome. And now I'm worried Maxx Crosby will ask to be traded from my Raiders to go to his hometown team.
I hear you. The Lions are in that spot the Bengals are in. They have had success, so no one wants to hear you complain and you are the hunted. But no Super Bowl win which stinks.

They (Gonzaga) have talent, but might need to pull off a round of 32 upset to reach the sweet 16. If they are an 8 seed no one is going to want to see them in the second round. They are pulling a Michigan State.

No superbowl appearances either, I would have definitely rather the Lions won instead of Washington which has Super Bowl victories. Big difference in the history of those two organizations
Yes I was around for the John Riggens days. I just don't necessarily root for most pathetic history. Otherwise I'd be a Browns fan.
14 of our 16 wins by double digits. 13 of those by 20+. Pretty impressive.
Teams that try to muck it up with Duke this year it's not happening. We have tough experienced players and our freshmen are tough as heck. Even Slim playing high school in Charlotte he loves this stuff.
The best part of tonight was BC having the makings of a upset team but dukes defense says you’re not having it go back down to earth

Zags were just ranked 16 in AP and were 11th in NET as of yesterday. That’s not an NIT resume, but their sweet 16 run is looking shaky.
Supossedly he yelled "get that s**t out of here" or something like that when blocking the shot.

I really hate to say it but Foster just isn’t very good.

I’d love to be proven wrong but he can’t finish, idk why but many times he makes layups harder than they are by going wrong side, he makes way too many bad turnovers, poor shooter, bad ft shooter, on and on.

I agree. Wonder how much is physical and mental since one effects the other. But he's just not engaged. Hopefully he gets it together but time is running out this year.
Hate to agree but it looks like reality. He is still needed and I’m confident he will have a few moments in games he helps us, but kudos to Jon for recognizing it and going heavy with Rese and Sion.
Foster is not playing very well right now, and I mentioned this last game. The switch may come on for him, but my guess it will be next year due to the time he missed. He doesn't really seem like a PG or a SG right now. He may have a game or two when he shines, but the consistency is all over the map. We need him in case of injury or foul trouble, so he should probably get 10 minutes a game. I also mentioned this last summer (due to all the time he missed he missed most of the spring and summer) and was assured he was "fine." 
His timing seems off; and that is a big thing in basketball. We are having a great year; so it is likely exaggerated due to everyone else playing so well.
Anyone else think Blakes could really help this team? Still can't blame him for wanting a featured role. I do think Sion is a better fit.

I have no inside info but I’m not expecting Foster back.
I think it will be a hard decision for Jon if Foster continues to struggle. Do you count on him for your starting PG next year, or do you hit the portal for a Blakes/Sion type? Assuming Proctor goes pro. We will probably bring in a portal guard anyway, but a starting type or a backup type is the question. It does seem a little similar to last year's Power/Stewart situation, but I hope Foster sticks it out.
