Absolutely the hardest place in the ACC for us to win. Won’t kill is but would have loved to be number 1
Flagg single handedly almost stole it from Clemson, if Duke had just gotten that one stop when they took that late lead. This is a good learning experience to play a bruising team like this. Duke will be fine. Tigers are going to maul unc-chapel hill branch on Monday.
First older, experienced team we have met in a while....and it shows...out rebounded, out played down the stretch....they exposed our inside defense all night and we didnt adjust. Maybe we will learn but this is definitely a warning against similar teams if we face them in the NCAA....we have to have a plan B for when one player is killing us.
Man this sucks. We had every chance and it came down to Flagg slipping on the court.
The post play was alarming (scoring, rebounding, D) big time red flag
In a terrible ACC, a game they needed for the resume. They will have to win out or at minimum lose one more to get a 1 seed. My guess is a 2 seed as the committee will hammer us because is of the conference.

Huh? Come on. If you would have told any one Reeves wouldn’t miss a free throw or Cooper wasn’t 100 percent Clemson would win they wouldn’t take it . Meet this Duke team again and we crush Clemson by ten or more . Mal, Brown and big Pat needed this loss to see they need to hold down the front court . I don’t want to be number one . I want to be the last team standing in March .
Oh well. Kind of a perfect storm. I don't get as upset about these things like I used to. We are a very good team, but we are also beatable.

Come on man . Flagg wasn’t 100 percent! Duke is with put Gillis and our Front court got scored on at will . It the perfect storm Duke needed to get brought down to earth on . I mean Proctor was our top scorer . Enough said especially after he won it by one last year .
What are you going to do loose the game by six or three or five ? It’s called a wake up call for Dukes front court ? You think any one else has scored 23 from the center position on Duke this season ? And Duke has three legit college centers ?
Yes and kept getting beat by his defensive assignments. It’s a learning curve for the entire team . But it was the front court that killed Duke .

Always sucks to lose. But the 50/50 balls didn't go their way, luck was on Clemson's side in the second half and Duke struggled to rebound. But still had a shot at the end. Sucks, but we'll be alright.
Allowing a team to score 42 second half points is not winning basketball. Next play.
Their entire starting 5 shot over 50% per player......not a good night for our defense, which is usually a strong point. Onto the next one...not one great team this year so its up for grabs..

This was what I was concerned about. We really didn’t pass the test. Their defense was suffocating and we had no answer except to give it to Cooper. Kon is just so irritating on defense and the boards. He is playing the 3. He has to be tougher on D and develop some quickness there.
This is simply not true. Auburn and Duke are both great teams. Alabama can be and Florida, when they are hitting their shots is also a great team.
Clemson looked like the 85 Lakers compared to some of the other ACC teams we've played. We got outrebounded by 7, they are a big team.
