Official game day thread- Duke va Kansas

Proctor and Foster are not your issues...neither is James. What can Cooper, Kon, Ma, Brown, Gillis and and others give you???
Huh? What are you even referring to? With out Kon, Flag or Brown Duke has one more loss then two .
Mal was always going to be a project he hadn’t been playing basketball but for the last three years .

How has he really failed ? I mean he does it all and yes he’s headed to the league next year but the kid is generational. Now I hope everyone sees why I wanted him at SF . Bigger power forwards with experience are always going to be trouble for a 17 year old Flag especially when they have an experienced center. Auburn is going to do the same as Kansas against Flag .
Agree with you on Cooper doing it all. He’s really good, no denying that. But I don’t think it matter whether he’s a small or power forward. The issue is we lean on him too much offensively. It makes us predictable. And good coaches with solid talent are making it tough on him.

It also seems to be a yearly conversation about our lack of ball movement, and why so and so isn’t getting any playing time.

Despite his poor and abbreviated tenure at Pitt, Kevin Stallings took Vanderbilt to seven NCAA tournament and two Sweet 16 appearances, Stallings doesn't remotely qualify as a "bad" college coach. And quite frankly Jon hasn't shown anything thus far to suggest he could produce better results at a program with the stature and resources of a Vanderbilt.
Haha, Jon is infinitely better than Stallings.

At recruiting. Jon may yet get there. He has done a solid job.
But no one outside of Duke fans calls him a coaching savant.

At recruiting, Jon may still reach great heights. He has done a solid job thus far. However, outside of Duke fans, few consider him a coaching savant.

While I’m not calling him a savant, I do believe he is far better than everyone I previously mentioned. I think he will have a long and successful career at Duke. Fair or not, our expectations are high because of the legendary status of the GOAT. Jon feels the pressure to bring a championship to Durham, and I believe he will succeed.

We all seen Flip with so many turnovers doing the spin move in traffic. I hope Cooper nips that in the bud quickly. Not sure who is teaching that lol
It’s not teached , it’s his instincts. It’s trying to force the the action . Trying to do too much . He’s done a lot of that thus far . Jon could have a hand in it also. But it needs to stop . I’m confused, he’s surrounded by top tier talent. There’s no need for flag to try to “take over a game, carry a team on his back” which he’s proven thus far cannot anyway. Makes no sense to me . Hes young, why put that pressure on him anyway….
