Duke takes on the number one team in the land.. the Kansas tar hawks. We are currently a 3.5 point favorite. Kansas is undefeated on the year with their best win coming against Carolina. Bill self is considered the best in the business and it’s always fun going up against that

If mal can stay on the floor and no other unexpected injuries we TCB and lay the hammer down on numero uno

Make Dickinson work on defense, screen and roll him to death, he doesn't want to leave the rim.
Rebound, keep turnovers down, and make some timely 3's and I think we win by 8-10.

Of course play solid defense, and stay out of foul trouble. Proctor and Foster need to get a little dog in them on offense.

Odd that we are favored. But it would be a huge win.

Agree on Maluach needing to stay out of foul trouble. He will have his hands full guarding arguably the best offensive big man in the country. And overall team defense. Which has been very good so far. I expect that will be there.

But I think the bigger challenge is on offense. We have to reduce the bad drives by Kon, not take dribble and shoot 3s, and actually make our open catch and shoot 3s. It would be nice to see Jon use some plays to get Kon some open 3s instead of the one on one offense we’ve been running.

And, as always, use the bench more. Especially in the first half. Get some bench players in the game. Get more rest to the starters.

Is there any status on Ngongba? Would be good to see him even get 3-5 minutes to help spell Maluach.

We should not be favored over the #1 team in the country with an inexperienced roster that has barely played together. KS has more experience, a good inside presence in Dickinson, and good guards. I think we get a reality check after the UA game and lose by double digits. This is another game to file under the "learning on the job" category for our usual inexperienced and young teams.

I mean ... he's healthy, obviously, having played last week. But he's being eased into the mix and is going to be on a minutes restriction all season. If Maliq Brown had picked up his 2nd foul in the first half at Arizona, maybe he gets in there (Maluach already had 2); but Brown's second foul came on the last possession of the half, so they didn't play Ngongba.

Oh good, we are finally playing KU, I mean UK, wait KU.....whatever! Like I care. I'm a Duke fan on a Duke message board! Cooper and Kon are gonna get theirs tonight. I think it comes down to our guard play and defense. Play D like Friday and I like us. Still, I am surprised we are favored!

It’s a game that Duke can win but I don’t see it. I went against them last time and they won so I’ll do the same. Kon has to show up early and hit 3s. Man has to play solid and Coop needs to play like he has been. Bench needs to get more time. James and Evans need to see minutes for a Duke win.
