2 good things about Mal. He runs the floor well, doesn't jog back like Okafor did, and he can shoot the 3.

Very ready for the season to start! Definitely plan on making the drive to Louisville this upcoming season to watch the Blue Devils.
Hearing UNC is the favorite to land Julius Halifonua, a 7 foot 290 monster out of New Zealand. He would be eligible next year, so hopefully they don't land him. Supposed to be decent. He is a 4 star

Is this the same one they have been after Chris ? I heard a while back they were looking at him but haven’t heard anything else .
I saw a picture of him with his arms at length holding a basketball in each palm . Definitely a big boy .
He is a reclass so yes. Not sure he would start, but is reportedly skilled and they certainly need another big body.
Despite being a 6th man last year Gillis has started 63 games for Purdue. That is a lot of experience.
Fast pace game gives everyone some burn on the floor. This is a good team...at least on paper so far.
I just want us to play fast. With our depth and athleticism, there is no reason why we shouldn't.

Absolutely. We should be the college football equivalent of the no huddle offense. We would be completely unguardable.

I saw that. Main takeaway for me was that Gillis (in his opinion) is much farther ahead than Foster, Sion, Evans, and Brown.
I don’t see that happening.
I'm leery of a guy who watches one practice and thinks he knows everything about the team and what Scheyer is thinking. I suspect the 5 guys who play the best defense will start.
October 19th and November 4th...Plenty time to figure out who are the starting five and 8/9 man rotation. We will still need to make sure that Center position is stable.
Big Pat being out makes us a little thin at the 5, esp. if Mal takes time

Don’t think we are thin at all there and never expected him to play much. It wouldn’t surprise me if he redshirts this year, get healthy and then be the 5 next to Cam Boozer
