Malcolm Brogdon would be my choice. I would say Justin Jackson as well, but Roy is clueless on how to use a SF
Paige is good and certainly a reasonable pick, but I think I would have voted for Brogden. He scores almost as much as Paige, and does so on fewer possessions (dictated by how the two teams play). But in addition to being his team's leading scorer, he is also considered by many to be the best perimeter defender in the ACC. To me, he is doing more work on both ends than anyone else in the league.
Brogdon is a very reasonable pick. Justin Jackson? Give me a break. That would be like picking Grayson. It's not out of the realm, but these picks aren't entirely based on throwing something against a wall and hoping it sticks. Reasonably speaking, Paige, along with maybe Brogdon, are two picks that make the most sense.
^^^ According to the ACC's website, Brogdon and Paige tied....so they're considered Preseason Co-Players of the Year.
