Duke in NBA Summer League Thread

Don't know if you guys have been watching much at all, but the NBA summer league games have been going on, with Winslow, Okafor, Quinn, and Hood seeing action so far (that I've seen). Winslow has been doing well, getting to the line a lot but his shot has been off. Okafor just had his first game, wasn't that great in the first half but really stepped it up in the second and ended up with around 20 points and 9 rebounds. Obviously it has been a bit of a different situation due to playing with lower-tier players but still entertaining to watch our guys play during July

Thanks for responding! I really hope more people watch these games, espeically if you're itching for some basketball. Good to see some natty champs take it to some summer league!

i love the summer league games.

Winslow is going to spend a lot of time at the free throw line in his career. He has a little James Harden in his game. He is also showing some of his play making ability so far. Okafor looked okay last night. The second half was really good, all around. This summer is big for Hood. Hopefully he can stay healthy this year. He was solid when healthy last year for the Jazz. His role figures to expand next year on a decent young team. (led by former Dukie Q. Snyder)
