Does Bamba Want to Decide in the Fall?

Can any of you shed light on this comment I just came across on the national board?

FWIW our rivals mod is hearing this one could before in the fall now and that bamba doesnt want to drag it into the spring. If true that would eliminate him from knowing if bolden was gone or not.
