It seemed like in the 70's/80's Notre Dame was a top team. Kelly Tripuka, David Rivers. Now they seem to treat basketball as an afterthought.

I remember in 85 and 86 the Nd game seemed like a huge deal with all the NBC hype. Any time Enberg did a game that elevated it and now we’re stuck with these ESPN clowns
