Which is what is frustrating about the current environment in college basketball. We used to be able to see players grow into their potential. Now we just get them for a year. Or 5 if you're a unc fan. I think Lively will improve a lot over his professional career, he grew a lot at the end of this year.

Maybe. Mintz was probably going pro anyway. Girard took a lot of heat this year from SU fans. He missed the last shot in the ACC tournament. Maybe he had enough. Autry may need to get some transfers. And Mintz did not hire an agent, so he could return.
I’d take girard. I woulda took him originally and still would. Someone earlier said he’d be a good player off bench and if he was willing to do a Grandison role I’d give him that all day

I said outside of 3 weeks. Bacot and Leaky(isn’t he coming back?) will be 5th year players. Davis a SR. They lost 19 games in 2020 and would not have qualified for the NCAA’s. They did not qualify for the NCAA’s this year. They were 18-11 another year in which they were blown out in round one of the NCAA’s and then last years 29-10 campaign. Four straight years with double digit losses and a great three weeks….hey maybe they’ll be preseason #1 lol

Yup. Get 2 of Mitchell, Flip and Proctor back and I'm happy. Although with Proctor coming on strong late he may test the waters. If they all bolt I'm going back to Coor's Light and hot dogs.

Autry is an excellent fit. He is switching to a man defense. Zone only in certain situation. If Mintz and Edwards come back, we will have a top tier conference team. One man's opinion!

What was the thread about? Just kidding. I enjoy good natured banter. It must have happened while I was on a hiatus but from what I can gather there must have been some serious disagreements on this board. All in the past. My skin is very thick because of years of brutal local and state politics so none of you guys bother me. Like 44 said (I think that he said something to that effect without going back), I am sure that I would enjoy drinking beer with any of you.
