You use Google? (Ahem, @Dahntay#1 )

So 23 minus minus minus vs 29 plus plus plus? Yeah, sounds very scientific. 🙄
You pretend to care about one, and flat out mock the other. You don't care about people dying, you only care about the politics you can play with their deaths.

Bro be waiting to find out the races of the suspect and the victim before he determines if he should be outraged or not 😂

BREAKING: *COP SHOOTS UNARMED MAN!!*

Ooh, and then in the next chapter you say something witty and everyone laughs and I shed a single tear.

Yeah, I remember middle school creative writing.

@Dattier is easy to figure out. When he thinks he can divert the issue by picking out a sentence one of us write, he will. It’s a clever, but predictable act his fellow comrades on the left do. Resort to saying we’re racist, lack empathy, conspiracy theorists…

His other go to is even more obvious. When he knows he has nothing, he comes back with childish one liners. He’s probably sitting there with his thumbs pressed to the side of his head, going Nah, Nah, Nah, while sticking out his tongue.

We can’t forget he’s a schoolteacher.

See his post above for proof.

Like you.
Next time you start with your crocodile tears over a black person being killed by the police. We will point out how very very few unjust killings of black people there are. And accuse you of taking the liberal bait with the fear mongering and allowing the leftist media and politicians stoke fear and anger. Because as long as it's just a few, nothing should be done to prevent it from happening.

These stories @Dahntay#1 and @Mac9192 make up about me conflict directly with what I’ve said and what I do. They aren’t quoting me because they don’t have evidence of it, so they’re making things up.

You don’t realize you do it. You’re driven by emotion. You’ve been pumped with false media lies for 40+ years and try to find “facts” to justify those emotions.

You already have! I just pointed that out.

The difference is that I say accusations of racism should be looked into, not that they are absolutely racist from the jump. You can’t even respect that. You dismiss them without consideration.

Your evidence of violence by undocumented immigrants is anecdotal, with hand-picked outliers you use to disparage all undocumented immigrants and justify any means necessary for arresting and deporting them. That’s why I mentioned the cessation of raids on farms, restaurants, and hotels: suddenly they’re not so dangerous when deporting them interferes with industry.

You do the same thing with immigration you inaccurately accuse me of doing with race. I pointed it out already.

I realize I don’t do it because I am aware of its existence on the Left and I check myself against it. Just like my use of Malcolm X’s speech on the danger of white liberals.

You’re repeating the same things over and over. They’re a caricature of who you think I am. They don’t hurt me; they don’t even threaten me. I don’t have to duck. You’re not even firing in my direction.

Oh, ICE says it? Could I get a copy of the daily schedule for which days y’all trust the govt? TIA

Your own article says some are in prison and some they can’t find but they’re certain they exist.

Yeah and bad parents can always point out other bad parents, but don’t think they are. Thats how this works.

I didn’t write the article nor do I work for the Trump WH. You claimed that victims of illegal immigrant violence are “outliers”. The numbers clearly show otherwise. Even if the DHS inflated the numbers for political advantage, you’re saying what, the accurate numbers are what 10, 15 murders?
Laken Riley may have gotten traction because she’s more relatable to Fox’s audience, sure, but more often the victim is a member of their own community. This is one of the reasons so many legal immigrants voted for Trump and still support him. They don’t give a rat’s ass what white lefties on tv are telling them. They want to live in safe communities like any other group. One free from gang bangers and drugs.

You are so ridiculous. I didn't even bring up the assumption that race played a role. Just the act of unjust killings in general. But since you brought it up, your evidence that racism plays a role is anecdotal with hand-picked outliers you use to disparage all police officers and justify any means necessary for your mob of angry lefties to burn down city blocks and loot shoe stores and Walmarts. I can play your game too.

Except the undeniable fact that many illegal immigrants are guilty of rape, murder, trafficking and gang activities is not anecdotal. It is undeniably true. And I do not disparage all illegal immigrants. I am against illegal immigration. But I acknowledged that the majority of them are good, hard working people. I also acknowledge that they are breaking our laws by being here illegally and they should leave voluntarily and come back the right way. You can twist my beliefs to make them evil all you want, it doesn't matter to me because you are not a serious person. Just like with the democrat party as a whole, whatever you accuse others of, you are already guilty of it yourself and at a far greater level.

I haven’t denied that undocumented immigrants have committed violent crimes. Your concern about it is selective and emotional.

You use that line a lot about how the Left accuses the Right of the things they’re guilty of. You still think that’s a one-way street.

My concern about it is not selective. I don't want a single innocent person to be senselessly killed and that is something that is inevitable. So I think measures should be taken to remove the people guilty of violence who are here illegally, first. You stop the leak before you clean up the mess. And your support for illegal immigrants is the leak.

Yes, I have compassion for the very few real victims of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants.
The bottom post is your reply from earlier today. Now you’re saying the top part. Nothing done but reposted what you’ve said.

Editing not needed.

I also think measures should be taken to remove the people guilty of violence who are here without documentation.
I do not think that that violence should be leveraged into deporting other undocumented immigrants who have not committed violence.
I do not think ICE should operate like guerrillas, nor that their detention centers should be the slightest bit less transparent than any American jail.

Oh, wow! Congrats. I remember more awesome things about that age than I was aware of at the time.
I was going to share a parenting observation, but now I think it would probably come across as condescending, particularly given our typical tone with each other.
So just congratulations.

I wonder what being a young parent would be like. It's going to be awkward when my daughter realizes that I am old enough to be her friend's parents' dad.

I had way more energy as a younger dad. As an old dad, I am more purposeful and humble. There's something to be said for each.

When I was expecting my first, I sat in a midwife's lobby across from a pregnant former student. I had another student at the time who already had a kid and was trying to give me advice. I didn't even listen but I wish I did. It wouldn't have hurt me to listen.

From time to time, I will read this thread, and I refrain from chiming in because I often don't see the point. I've never shared this on here, but years ago, my ex and I lost a baby. My daughter would've been seven this year, and I can't imagine what it would be like trying to explain the world today to her. Though I wish I had the opportunity. It's nice seeing you all bonding over being parents. It makes me feel like there is some hope for such a divided country to come together, possibly. Because I do think most of us have more in common than not.

I don't think there is ever a bad time in the world to bring in another life. No offense, but that is way too dramatic. Every life is precious and beautiful. You wouldn't have to explain the world today to your 7 year old.

My heart goes out to you because I can relate. My wife had two miscarriages early on and then they discovered a mass in her uterus. After two surgeries, we were given less than a 5% chance of birthing a child. After that, I was in a car accident that pretty much took 2 years of my life away and a career. So the beginning of our marriage was hijacked by trauma. We considered adoption, by ultimately opted out and accepted that we were going to be a childless couple. Then 40 came and a miracle happened. It was terrifying at first, but I love every minute of it.

Don't give up hope and don't let your world view keep you from bringing angles into the world.

I definitely feel like I am a much more level headed dad today than I would have been 15 years ago. Especially 20 years ago. I am not going to pretend to have as much energy today, but I still have a lot in the tank and she gives me more. Thursday nights at the bar are a little tougher now.

I'm sorry, Ghost. And thank you. I'm glad you've received a miracle. My partner and I are now in a place where we have been discussing adoption. I'm about to be 42, and she's approaching 40.

One thing I've found out as I've gotten older is I wasn't nearly as smart at 30 or 40 as I thought I was. In my personal life, I've been told that I could have been a counselor. If I do come across as wise (not seen in this thread), it's from decades of messing up.

In golf talk, I'd sure love to have a few mulligans.

On Israel & Iran, where do you all stand on how things are going. Is Trump handling this like he should? And I've heard rumblings between him and Tucker. Is Tucker right, or is Trump right to call him kooky? Not going to lie, after all the past administrations and wars, I'm not sure how to feel, or what to believe.

Seriously asking.

Trump’s done a good job so far with support of Israel and keeping the pressure on Iran diplomatically although that ship has sailed for me. They can’t be trusted and even the IAEA has come to realize that. I hope the US will provide the means necessary to take out Fordow. If not, the IDF will figure out another way, albeit a much riskier one. I’ve heard that the IDF has the means to “entomb” Fordow, rendering it inoperable, but not the ability to 100% obliterate it without any doubt.
Mission creep is a real concern, but as long as the US doesnt commit troops for a regime change, that shouldn’t be an issue.

Re: Tucker Carlson I enjoyed him early on in his Fox career but I’ll say this. He’s gotten weirder and weirder over the years. On top of that, early this year a consulting firm that Qatar pays 180 k a month to helped “facilitate” a meeting between Carlson and the Qatari pm in their whitewashing/ normalization campaign. Ever since, Carlson has been even more staunchly anti Israel than before. Coincidence?

He also seems sympathetic to Putin at times, which is bizarre to put it mildly. Whatever he used to be years ago, he strikes me as a journalistic lightweight who is only lightly tethered to reality.
