The idea that being trans is something parents or schools push or talk kids into is dumb. It’s as stupid as the rumors about a child-trafficking pizza parlour.

My coworkers always said I had it made teaching those two subjects. I told them they had the same choices, but they just got in the wrong line. I retired one month before my 52nd birthday. I had 29 years of service, but used my sick leave to put me over 30 years. Driver Ed is a good gig, but I can tell you three stories where I thought I was going to die in the car. I’m going on year 36 now.
Pure lunacy. Nobody is forced to live as the wrong gender. The psychological damage is done by this ideology. We, as humans, go through struggles both mentally and physically. This is where placental guidance is crucial. You can help a child who feels like they were born in the wrong body without telling them that they can choose what gender they are. Whatever happened to accepting who you are and being happy in your skin? You cannot change who you are and whether you want to or no, you will never be anything other than what you were born as. That's not for you to take up with me. That's for you to take up with whoever/whatever you believe our maker is.

From my standpoint, a trans adolescent whose gender identity is denied or rejected is being forced to live as the other gender. No point arguing either one, specifically, but whichever way we lean, we all agree that being forced to live as something you’re not could be psychologically damaging.

It's also a really underappreciated subject. Y'all are sometimes disrespected by people who consider their subjects more intellectual and important. If the pandemic hasn’t impressed upon us the role of physical health in mental health and overall health, I don’t know what will.
