It doesn’t do anything. Nothing changed until natural immunity starts working its way around. Again, artificial inoculation is idiocy DURING an active widespread infection.

Soooo we played a game of screwing the children versus protecting the weak/old? That certainly makes sense. I wonder why, when a boat sinks, they don’t save the old/weak first?

Without parental consent, the state or federal gov (our taxes) can certainly pay for it. Who do you think pays for all of the ER care of illegals? That’s why the illegals use the ER for primary care.

Yes, you backpedaled, it’s all good man. I just cited it but will let that go.

Btw you see a handful more athletes popping up with cardiac electrical disturbance and clotting issues? Nah, that can’t have anything to do with something that causes myocardial inflammation and insane clotting factors (sarcasm).
state/fed can pay for it or is? can is your assumption and not happening yet, is is fact.....screwing kids how? in the face of uncertainty at the time...kids lost 2.5 months in 2019-2020 and the best effort was made considering in the hybrid 2020-2021 school year, which does still equate to 1.5 years of def missing normal instruction...some had it worse than others, some better....you can cite all you want, i didn't, i know better, free to have your own opinion, and ill let it go too

Funny how it is always when democrats are in charge of the economy, it becomes more difficult for lower income people to be able to afford buying a home. I thought they championed the poor?

They do pay for, but as I stated they have the right to review it (can). You don’t know much about healthcare and/or reimbursement so I’ll gladly educate you here.

There’s no opinion here in this discussion, but you’re saying that because I’ve hammered your claims.

Go get another booster though 😂

Better to keep them in public housing and in terrible school districts. More likely to keep voting Democrat. Plus, if they owned a home they’d have to pay taxes and may start voting GOP

Opinion in telling me what I meant in regards to time lost...you getting real condescending which doesn't help w/ dialouge....

You thinking I’m condescending is yet another opinion. I’m just setting things straight.

Shocker you voted for Biden. Again, not an insult, but an observation.

This is a 100% tell that you’re about to spin some phrasing as sensationalist as possible. 🙄

Has Obama come for your guns yet? Has that been rescheduled yet again?
I’m not sure what you’re referring to by quoting “So you do agree that-“. I never recall ever using those words in this thread. I’ve never mentioned Obama and guns. I’m sorry you feel triggered.

So you do agree that the media is promoting the LGBTQtxyz. The schools are afraid to do anything because the fear of lawsuits. We have teachers promoting it with their pride flags and openly discussing the topic with students. I’ve had students tell me about furries and other stuff students are doing that disrupts class and the teachers just accept it and try to continue their lesson like nothing has happened. So yes, there are teachers pushing this on students. By turning a blind eye, you are promoting it too.

He is just avoiding the topic and avoiding giving you a logical response by brushing it off as you spinning things.

Just like Trudeau said they’d only ban AR’s in Canada…..😂

It's amazing how that little Castro wannabe is praised by the progressives. If you spoke out against vandalism and violence during the riots over a fentanyl overdose, you were against people's right to peacefully protest. Meanwhile, lil Castro destroyed the lives of protesters and the livelihoods of anyone who stood by them in an actual peaceful protest. But hey, he is front and center at the pride rallies.

You understand exactly why I think he’s spinning it, and you know very well that refusing to take spun bait is a legitimate response/nonresponse.

The housing crisis of 2008 stands as one example where a Republican was in charge. Lower income people were preyed upon leading up to that. They got into homes for a minute, but I hardly think that really counts as a feather in the GOP’s hat.

The economy really hasn’t recovered since for most young people.

Oh the idiocy here - the banks, led by mostly Leftists pushed for SISA loans, increasing the DTI requirements, and lowering credit thresholds. Now? Biden is penalizing strong credit borrowers and cheapening money for low credit borrowers. You really struggle with financial concepts lol.

Both parties sold us out back in 08, actually way before. When the folks on the left finally admit their party sucks, maybe some change might happen. Many on the right came to that conclusion about their party around 2016.

There wasn’t much difference between Bush, Clinton, W Bush, and Obama.

So a few interesting comments I have been seeing about how great the economy is doing. Pretty good actually, especially when you don't worry about context.

1. Wages have caught up to inflation.

2. Record low unemployment .

3. Highest job growth in any two year period in U.S. history.

4. Economic recovery for the U.S. is outpacing every major developed country.

5. "Record" for most consecutive days with a positive gain for the market.

Wonder what context would do to the image of Bidenomics. I bet it would be disastrous for at least 4 of those.

Yeah, if you compare America to most countries, we are doing good. You’re a clown though to say things are as good now as they were pre Covid.

Any level headed person knows we are watching the most inept President ever.

Right...see how that works, you have an opinion that I only meant 2.5 months, when I clearly know I was also including the following year cause it all goes together...👍🏾
Not just that, Richard Levine as well…..come on now.

Ps this is for you, all of you that comply so easily….

as you point out -the missing element is context....as Disraeli said "There are lies, damn lies and statistics"
Record low unemployment...but also record low labor participation..not good
Highest job growth...taken from the beginning of covid so the return to work from that pandemic is in there..these are not all new and good paying jobs

Behind each accolade, there needs to be context but that would upset the narrative.
Perception in the general public does not match those highlights otherwise there would be a much more optimistic feel around the country

Hadn't cosigned anything on Levine...you said doing a horrible job, I asked show...you did and gave all your opinions and thoughts

Thank heavens the Fed is actively putting the brakes on inflation. Current administration cannot take any credit for that.

No question President Biden's administration spins things to look more favorable. Assuming that's the case is also a very convenient way to discredit any and every thing they claim to have accomplished.

"Trump's claims of having won the election, said the indictment, were "false, and the Defendant knew they were false. But the defendant repeated and widely disseminated them anyway — to make his knowingly false claims appear legitimate, to create an intense national atmosphere of mistrust and anger, and to erode public faith in the administration of the election.”

Federal prosecutors say Donald Trump was “determined to remain in power” in conspiracies that targeted a “bedrock function of the United States federal government: the nation’s process of collecting, counting and certifying the results of the presidential election.”

The indictment, the third criminal case brought against the former president as he seeks to reclaim the White House in 2024, follows a long-running federal investigation into schemes by Trump and his allies to subvert the peaceful transfer of power and keep him in office despite a decisive loss to Joe Biden."

G.I. Rump, a real American herooooo

"By the late 1970s, the American Petroleum Institute had formed a secret committee called the “CO2 and Climate Task Force,” which included representatives of many of the major oil companies, to privately monitor and discuss the latest developments in climate science.

In 1980, the task force invited a scientist from Stanford University, John Laurmann, to brief them on the state of climate science. Today, we have a copy of Laurmann’s presentation, which warned that if fossil fuels continued to be used, global warming would be “barely noticeable” by 2005, but by the 2060s would have “globally catastrophic effects.” That same year, the American Petroleum Institute called on governments to triple coal production worldwide, insisting there would be no negative consequences despite what it knew internally."

And thanks to tRumps Tax Cuts and Jobs Acts these companies who rape our planet like ExxonMobil and Shell get to pay a whopping 14% less in corporate tax. All while raking in record shattering profits every quarter.

Another short sighted law from a Republican that will benefit the upper middle class in the short term, while helping to erode what few social safety nets we have in this country for the lower middle class and poor.

It's also helped these oil companies push the gas pedal to the floor on climate change. But hey, gotta think of those poor shareholders, amirite guys?

Why don't we focus on the things that I listed. Do you think there are accomplishments worth boasting about?

So in 1980 a Stanford scientist has a theory, and the API, and everyone else should just buy it hook, line, and sinker and change the entire energy sector? Just want to make sure I have the entire thesis here correct. And I don’t even know what you’re talking about with regards to the tax cuts and Exxon Mobile and Shell.

It wasn't just a theory. It was backed up by evidence from our atmosphere, and it wasn't just some Stanford scientist either, it was reps from these oil companies saying the same thing. But that would've gotten in the way of profits so naturally they've spent the following four decades trying to downplay the effects and keep everyone chained to their product.

As far as the tax cuts go, corporations, like ExxonMobil and Shell benefitted greatly from Trump slashing the corporate tax from 35% to 21%.

But we have to start acting more aggressively now, or the world will be a much worse place come 2050-2060. Some of us will have kids who will entering adulthood around that time and would rather they not severely pay for the previous generations monumental **** up.

So if it wasn’t just a theory then it would be a scientific fact. I’ve yet to see a scientific proof that proves what this Stanford scientist’s theory states.

That’s the beauty of science though, it’s either proven or it’s a theory. With it not being proven it’s just an opinion. Therefore, upending an entire sector, especially as large as the energy sector because of a theory would be reckless at absolute best. I’ll throw a theory out there. It’s based on the countless other predictions from “scientists” from the last 100 years that didn’t come true. Here it is- we will all be fine, the earth will be fine, and there will be countless other theory’s tossed out there predicting doomsday for future generations 20-50 years in the future if we “don’t drastically act now.” Rinse and repeat.

It literally has been proven. The Co2 released from vehicles rises into atmosphere, there it stays for a very long time. It lets heat from the sun in, then traps it inside. Hence the term "greenhouse gases" because Co2 acts like a greenhouse, but for the whole planet. This is a proven, scientific fact.

You're right though, the earth will be fine. The earth has survived much worse. We haven't.

And what’s the solution again? Electric vehicles? Wind? Solar? Everyone ride bikes? Btw be careful, the first three have massive environmental consequences for a variety of reasons based on your CO2 greenhouse “facts”.

Scientists cannot even agree on the age of the earth so judging the climate on a planet based on the collection of data from 0.000000033% of earth's existence hardly proves a theory. BTW - 1923 was hotter than this summer..yet there were far fewer people/cars/carbon fuel sources then....

"In 1650 the Earth was 4,654 years old. In 1864 it was 100 million years old. In 1897 the upper limit was revised to 40 million years. Currently we believe the age to be about 4.5 billion years. What will be the best guess in the year 2050?" ...this was 2021

Today science moved the universe from 13 billion years to 26 billion....science changes all the time...thats why we cannot say the cause is human based...btw...CO2 is 0.04% of atmospheric gases.....

Fear controls the population...just read the Crichton Book - State of Fear...

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Amazing. So because scientists change what they think based on newly available information, they surely must be incorrect about everything and we should just trust what you say based on the fact that you have the ability to cherry pick completely unrelated information and throw it together in a pitiful attempt at creating a coherent argument? Think I'll pass thanks, and I'll just create my opinion based on 60 years of research from the experts in this field rather than some random person who can't even back up their argument with any relevant facts on a basketball message board.

And I shouldn't need to explain why its harder to get a truly accurate reading on the true age of the entire universe than it is to measure gases and heat on our own planet.

Its hilarious how y'all Republicans scream about protecting children all the time but when push comes to shove on the biggest issue facing all our kids you just fall in line with whatever you favorite anti-intellectual right wing mouth piece has to say on the subject.
