Heard John Adams interviewed today. Coordinator of officials.

He said that the refs did not see what we saw in the Winslow out of bounds replays. There was never a thought to review after the two players had their hands on the ball. They determined that was too close to call because they never played it far enough through at all angles because all three refs and table ref thought the call was where the ball was originally knocked from Winslow.

John Adams went on to say that he saw it right after the refs made call/walked away. He thought about having the buzzer sounded and having them re review but believed it needed to be left to the floor refs because it would be interjecting him into the game in a way he has never done in his tenure.

i watched all the replays and i can't say that it touched him. i looked carefully on the ball rotation and it did not change at all. usually if your finger touches it the ball stops rotating.

THe last replay, they used back and forth action in extreme slow mo and it did lightly graze his finger tip. That cost them the game. ...my azz.

From 1 angle it looks like he touched it for sure.. But like you said, it didn't do anything to the ball's motion.. So that makes me think that maybe from a little closer angle, it might have shown that it didn't touch..

I definitly understand why Wisconsin fans are mad.. but, if I was a Wisconsin fan, I wouldn't have even made it that far into the game.. I would have turned it off and quit being a fan as soon as I saw Grayson Allen was stealing the show.. as a 6'4" freshman with the least amount of playing time on the team..

THAT is why they lost.. Not because a microscopic piece of dead skin from Winslow's finger made contact with the ball after a Wisc. player knocked it out..

They lost all credibility when they seriously wanted a foul on Tyus because a Wisc. defender ran into his elbow while he was shooting.. that blew my mind.. I couldnt even comprehend what the argument was there..

I actually enjoyed them all raising hell because they didn't think that was a shot clock violation at the end. Why did it matter? We clearly got the rebound anyway.

In the replay I saw that they showed a few different times, IMHO you can tell that it grazed Justise's finger ever so lightly but like the OP stated, according to the coordinator of officials the referees never saw that part when they reviewed the play which is why they gave the ball to Duke. So going off that explanation then by the rules of what they saw then they made the correct call but in the end haters gonna hate and that's all that will matter in their eyes. We're National Champions and that's what matters to us.

What about Franks intentional foul on Jah under 5 minutes? That's just one they missed on the Badgers...

^^And how bout Dekker's travel/charge on Winslow that totally ignored even though it was 1v1 with all the refs lookin only at them under the basket?

Honestly, I've already watched most of the game again and it is only pissing me off cause we both got 3-4 solid missed calls go for us. Every single one of the fouls we drew by aggressively attacking was a blatantly easy foul call, and its only making me wanna bitch slap the F outta Bo's Badger head lookin ass when he is only mad cause how he coaches his guys to play D was actually foiled by a team that is just a tough matchup for them. We beat them twice by being too fast and aggressive for his guys defense. Who the F cares if they foul less than any other team, Duke is the National Champions, we aren't ure average slow ass Big 10 team and they can't stop us without fouling and its hurting Bo so much he has to start a conspiracy instead of congratulating Duke for being better than Wisky.
