Bilas ripped Cronin a new one. Said he is just blaming his players and that Cronin as a player would not have gotten one rebound against the guys he brought in.
This is sad to see. With that said, all I care about is that someone beats Kermit the Frog and Taylor's boyfriend.
Did Cronin go a little overboard? Probably. But, he's saying what a lot of other coaches feel too, like Bennett and Larranaga. They just chose to ride off a little quieter. The press conference after a loss is not the best place to talk about your team.
If Bilas said that about Cronin, then he's just as wrong as him, maybe more.

Yep. Cronin probably went overboard but honestly his thoughts are the same as a lot coaches and fans. These kids are going to be even more delusional than they already are over the next 5-10 years if things are not adjusted. Also, Cronin may not have recruited them. With the way NIL works and the money and power at ucla, Cronin may not have the input other coaches have
I just can't watch Jeremy play for someone else. It's like seeing your ex-girlfriend with another guy.
I wouldn't write UCLA off either. They have talent and now have a long home stretch.

The win at Arizona continues to look better and better. They are in 1st place in the Big 12 and are blowing Roach and Baylor out in the 1st half.
Roach and crew are currently getting curb stomped by Arizona. 42-19 at the half
Mitchell was a guy I wanted to keep. But he wanted to start. It worked out with Gillis, but I hate losing guys.

Mitchell would have been in the rotation had he returned. That being said, one of Brown or Gillis doesn’t come to Duke.
I’ll pull for Roach in the tournament. Mitchell too if Mizzou makes it. The exceptions being if they face Duke in the tournament.
I am Ecstatic with the Duke Team we have been observing play this season. The Coaching Staff did a great job finding the right pieces for this season’s team. Great Job Duke’s Coaching Staff.

Mitchell is too limited. I think he left knowing what would happen had he stayed. Cooper needed to be surrounded by some shooters. Jon and the staff definitely found the right pieces. Just hope we are as happy in April as we are right now.
I appreciate everything Mitchell gave Duke, but I think things worked out greatly for us. His injury in the 2023 tournament killed us against Tennessee, still think we win that game with him.
Brown brings the size and ability to allow our defense to switch 1-5 when he is in. Mitchell at times could be a hell of a defender, but he still wasn't Maliq good. Maliq also is content with taking 1-2 shots a game, don't think the same could be said for Mitchell.
Mitchell overall is a better basketball player than Gillis, but Gillis can shoot 3's which allows more spacing for our offense and for Cooper to attack the rim.
Brown is not really giving us anything at the moment. I do like his game, but 2 injuries already.
Well yeah, he’s hurt. When he does play he’s one of the best defenders in the country, can switch 1-5, deflects more passes than anyone on the team by double, (prior to injury), and doesn’t need the ball at all offensively. We will absolutely need him in March.
