I have always been weary of coaches/fans/commentators calling out student athletes after a poor performance. However, at the D1 level, these guys are no longer student athletes. They are paid professionals who the NCAA are trying to mask as "student-athletes." Heck, all of the power conference players are making more money than I am.
So with that said, I think it's fair for coaches to call out players by name during press conferences and for fans to boo players etc. That's just the new world of big time college athletics. If you want to get paid the big bucks, you need to be able to handle and accept the criticism that comes with it.

Cronin basically told half his team to hit the portal last year, and did it publicly. Players are getting paid now so you have to take the good with the bad.
I think Jon last year pushed a lot of guys out. Have to take the bad with the good.
A lot of professionals can handle wins and losses with humility and grace.........he definitely ain't one of them.

Big win for Louisville today. They're quietly moving up the ACC. Duke, Clemson, Louisville, Cheats, Pitt, and SMU might be the team's that get in come March.

Broome's injury looked significant. If he’s going to miss multiple weeks, that opens the door for Cooper to win Player of the Year, though I think he’s already showing that he’s a better player. Since turning 18, Cooper is averaging 27.2 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 5.2 APG, 1.7 SPG, and 1.2 BPG.
