And kids are too soft to hear that shit today.
Kids getting paid so have to treat them like adults sometimes. I stayed near UCLA for a few weeks I would be soft to if I was going to school there. Life of luxury
Cronin is officially one of my favorite coaches now
I have always been weary of coaches/fans/commentators calling out student athletes after a poor performance. However, at the D1 level, these guys are no longer student athletes. They are paid professionals who the NCAA are trying to mask as "student-athletes." Heck, all of the power conference players are making more money than I am.
So with that said, I think it's fair for coaches to call out players by name during press conferences and for fans to boo players etc. That's just the new world of big time college athletics. If you want to get paid the big bucks, you need to be able to handle and accept the criticism that comes with it.

Cronin basically told half his team to hit the portal last year, and did it publicly. Players are getting paid now so you have to take the good with the bad.
