I think Austin personifies the standard image of a Duke player to all the Duke haters.

He’s not my favorite player and is actually pretty low on list. It’s not his attitude or cockiness. It’s not that he never drove to his left or tried to use his left hand. The reason why he is not one of my favorites is that he seemed to put himself above the team.

That said, the shot he took at the UNC game was priceless.

I agree he would try to go 1 on 3 too much. He had a great handle but the ball stuck to him too much. He hardly ever look to pass the ball out when he attacked the basket.

So is there some stat that’s measuring player attitude? Is there a Player Sulking Index — PSI?

No it’s having intel on what actually went down with the team that year.
