It doesn’t exist. There isn’t any semblance of an offensive set being run the majority of the time. It's a system our guys can't play in.

??? Who.A lot of people said this class was a weak class, and a lot of guys reclassed or went to the G League.
Well why don't we have a point guard now? Do not think Blakes was recruited as a point guard. OFCRoach, Blakes, and Proctor all came to Duke as point guards.
Thanks, Shey. And that is precisely the point. We do not have a relaible floor leader. Makes for a long season.Negative . Roach wasn’t a pg . He was a scoring guard, Blakes was known more as a combo as well as Proctor . Just because their scouting report said pg you got to read past it . Not one was ever a pure pg .
Not gonna happen. This seasons donzoRoach had not made the jump so far. He was the glue that was supposed to hold all these pieces together. Maybe he can turn it around but he is following the pattern of last season. After the tournament last year he should be one of the top guards in the country. Outside of 2 or 3 games he has not been that guy. And if he is not that guy we are not going to beat UNC or Virginia or Miami. He can be that guy, but he needs to do it consistently and when it counts.
Roach actually isn’t a terrible passer but this injury and being forced to score this year has helped him regress with passing. I’m a fan of the kid. He came back to lead this team and he’s had an unfortunate nagging injury….No you are right. He’s a scoring guard like I mentioned. Wouldn’t really put him as a pure pg . A pure pg can dish out assist along with scoring . Nothing wrong with being a scoring guard you just have to learn when the pass is warranted. There was a reason Moore played a lot at pg and started the offense .
When has he ever averaged more then seven assist? I’m behind you 44. He could have left and went else where. But now is the time to show his pg skills and running down court with not passing it off to Whitehead with a miss field goal is not the prime example of a true pg while being down .Roach actually isn’t a terrible passer but this injury and being forced to score this year has helped him regress with passing. A healthy Roach is the best lead guard for this team but that doesn’t seem to be an option right now.
Do you mean 7assist per game average? That would be awesome! When has he ever averaged more then seven assist? I’m behind you 44. He could have left and went else where. You could easily add Pitt, Va Tech, NC State again, Wake Forest Again, and Clemson (which crushed NC State) to the list. OFCRoach had not made the jump so far. Sad that we have to be talking about next season already. So this team's record is not at all Jon's fault, but should be attributed to over-rated players? Really? What indication is there that even with the next batch of OAD's we will be any better than we are now? Talent by itself does not win games. Talent needs solid coaching to do that. Coaching is what makes cohesive TEAM play achievable. It is still way too early to conclude that Jon can do that. Let's see what happens today at BC.A lot of us are looking way to past things ( notice how I said us) . Nolan wasn’t a pure pg , Scheyer became it . Moore wasn’t , yet the ball moved better with him as lead guard. There is a lot of time to right this ship . Yes Proctor needs a wake up call( probably the one closest to a true pg on the team ) . Roach is better off ball . Blakes is doing what he is asked to the best of his capabilities.
What’s to say this isn’t Scheyers plan ? Make these recruited see they aren’t as good as their rankings but can be ? Get Proctor, Mitchell and Flip to stay with Schutt, Blakes and Young and damn the future is so bright I’ll ware shades ( I’m blind with out corrective lenses by the way ) . Not saying it happens but those players mixed with what’s coming in next season and Wow. Sometimes everyone has a game plan until they get hit ! Tyson
Lol yes that is exactly what I meant to type .Do you mean 7assist per game average? That would be awesome!
He was . I’m not sure why rivals changed his category to shooting guard but I do remember him being listed as a pg at rivals for a long time. He’s also listed as a pg on 247Well why don't we have a point guard now? Do not think Blakes was recruited as a point guard. OFC
Lol yes that is exactly what I meant to type .
Okay that would be an insane stat if he averaged 7 assists per game, meaning about 1.5 more per game than either of the Jones brothers, as example….Lol yes that is exactly what I meant to type .
I wouldn't say it's all Jon's fault, but there are definitely some over-rated players on the team who haven't been performing up to expectations. Talent alone doesn't win games, you're right, however, I'm not sure if Jon can deliver a foster cohesive teamwork just yet. And do you think the next batch of OAD's will make a significant difference in our team's performance? By the way, I am a professional already in game betting, and also I know well this website since here I read a review of the Luxury Casino. Its features seemed to me financially advantageous, so I decided to earn money on game betting and casino playing. For teens who are still studying and need money for daily divertisement, it is so fit.Sad that we have to be talking about next season already.
