poor second half....22% from 3 overall and 65% from the FT line....got to do better with big leads. GTHC but we made this way too close for no reason. Refs were poor but so was our second half execution.

I was getting 98 Kentucky ptsd flashbacks checking the score at work.
The refs were really bad I witnessed it 1st hand. Unc got no fouls called on them for drives Duke was making to the paint, but fouls were being called on Duke for every time on the defensive end for the same drives.
I never blame the refs either, but what they were doing tonight in the 2nd half was not fair officiating

Beating them without Cooper and Brown is glorious
1-12 against quad 1. Couldn’t even beat us with the best player in the nation and a damn good defensive post player….and of course the refs. No matter how you look at it, those refs were HORRIBLE!

I try to not blame the refs, but the last 12-15 minutes it seemed like they called everything on us, and a few I thought were late whistles. The other problem was we really played too passive, allowing them to come back.

Kon came up clutch for us. We are not beating Clemson if we play that way in the 2nd half though.

Could they still get in with the 12 seed play in? Maybe, but then that completely contradicts the committee’s MAJOR emphasis on quad 1 wins and bad losses.
