The refs had nothing to do with our play. Cooper picked up two dumb fouls, and Brown did too.

We need to regroup, and clean up the play a little.

Scheyer really killed everything with putting in cooper cold when it wasn’t necessary. We were fine. Got a lot of energy with a detrimental cooper Flagg third foul. That and malauch has really been bad.

They are going to go at Flagg in the second we need him simply to rebound and be the facilitator. I look for them to try and get his fourth in the first five minutes .

Three keys, imo:

1. Play way tougher on D.

2. Offense - Don’t be sloppy with the ball and take good shoots. Game was too frantic in 1st half.

3. Stop with the bad fouls.

Seriously. Sit Flagg for at least 5 minutes the start of the half. Make him realize he has to show poise, and we have to be able to play with poise without him.

You don’t sit the best player in the nation to start the half with 3 fouls. You have to teach him to play smart. I bet he finishes the game with 3 fouls.

Did you transition into a Kentucky fan? We can agree the refs suck. But Duke has had far more self inflicted issues than bad calls from the refs.

Don’t know about this but UNC is hoping he’s in the paint . Duke needs to play physical in the second half .

Yes it’s worrisome but it’s also basketball. If unc is relying on making extremely difficult shots eventually the odds will reverse and they will miss them.
