Let’s go!! Gonna be a really tough tournament. Especially when we face one of the top SEC teams.

I don’t think we will. Just don’t have the competition. Going in to today Louisville was a 7 seed. Too low but the ACC is bad. We will get one of the SEC teams. If it’s us, Auburn, Florida, and Houston (though UT could sneak in but I doubt it) the two two seeds are likely UT and Alabama and they won’t put them in an SEC bracket.

St. John’s or Michigan State will be the final 2 seed.

1 - Duke, Auburn, Florida, Houston
2 - Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan St., St Johns.

We are almost sure to get either UT or Bama. Obviously would be great to get Michigan St.

I actually feel better if we get Tennessee, though I hate the way they play football on the basketball court. And they hammered us two years ago. But I think we are better and tougher and would hold them down defensively.

You would think, but Lunardi says Auburn has it locked up no matter what.

we are 3-2 vs ranked teams and Kansas ended up with 12 losses so that really hurts that win. SEC teams have double digit wins vs ranked teams and the record of the conferences head to head is very lopsided to the SEC.....i think whoever win that tournament should be #1 but i think they'll give it to Auburn given they have been #1 for a lot of the season. Right or wrong...just my opinion

Jon really made great halftime adjustments. Helps when you have talent, but still that’s a sign of a Coach. Hepburn never got going, and Edwards was 6-17 in the 2nd half.

Great tournament with not having two important players. The guys all stepped up. Proctor was big tonight with those 6 three’s, but the kid has to be better at the line. Kon is so freaking good. Missed all 5 of his 3’s but still found a way to score 18.

Most enjoyable Duke team I’ve watched in a long time.

Louisville may be a 7 seed but they were also ranked #13 which does mean something. I expect Duke to get the 1 overall but the committee does whatever they want…. Looking at you bubba

Excellent comment. I didn’t realize that once your offense is ranked highly it’s always the second best in the country even if it isn’t performing well 🤡 smh I was talking about what was going on in todays game, not what’s happened over the course of the season.

What an accomplishment to win this tournament after losing two key players in the opening minutes of the first game. WOW!! What a special group this is and they certainly showed they are more than the C Flagg show. Duke’s backcourt was terrific today (other than Ty at the FT line) they were locked in defensively in that second half. They would not give Hepburn any room to breath.

31-3 and 22-1 in the ACC. Jon will never have a better team than this one. The roster construction is simply awesome!

That’s my thoughts too with Michigan state but I don’t think they can put a 1 and 2 seed together from the same conference so that leaves us with an SEC 2

Duke scored 1.26 points per possession last night. That's elite by any standard.

Oof. In 2004, I pulled for Md to beat NCSU in the ACCT semis because we'd split with NCSU that year and swept Md. They did win, and then they beat us for the ACC Championship. I also later jinxed our FF game against UConn by crowing about victory prematurely on this very board.

I don't openly state who I'm hoping to match up with anymore, and I rarely post during games, either, all because of 2004.
