Official game day thread- Duke vs Cal

My biggest complaint, not just this game but many games this year, is Duke tends to become satisfied with a lead. I think it cost them the Kentucky game. But other than that, hasn't bit them yet. I also don't like their regression in rebounding. I still think they are a favorite to win it all, but they have things to work on.

Anytime you can win by 20+ in conference play and have no injuries it's hard to complain about much.
I think this team is bored in conference play, seems like most games we get up by 20-30 then just get complacent and stop playing hard. Which makes the Clemson loss burn even more, because the team had to of known that was going to be a battle.

Cal is an elite rebounding team (it's the only thing they are good at) and Clemson is too, but I think we need to rebound the ball better, Mal has been getting pushed around too much lately.
It's so nice to see Proctor having this nice stretch, we need good Tyrese in order to cut down the nets. I'm starting to wonder if Foster should play at all, he just has zero confidence.

Mal is being criticized (rightfully so) for needing to be a more physical, but I think Brown and Ngongba need to be more physical as well. Against the better teams, we cannot get beaten inside like we are. It takes a toll.

What the hell is Corey talking about? "This is an important stretch for Caleb Foster because he hasn't had a field goal since Duke played Miami" wtf he had three fg's two games ago at Syracuse.
For real. It's like they had the overall point correct, but kept fumbling details. Good game for the jv announcers, I guess. I hope Michael Carter-Williams makes it. I like him.

Caleb was averaging almost 9 ppg through our first 9 games. About 2.5ppg with a high of 9 ever since. smh

At least Jim is funny.
I forgot who that was and it took me a while to figure it out. He was funny. I liked that they were ribbing him a bit about how he looked down his nose at Greensboro as the ACCT site when he first came to the ACC. Glad he has come around to appreciate fine dining in Durham.
