Coach K: The Rise and Reign of Mike Krzyzewski
Author: Ian O’Connor
One of the best biographies I have ever read. Some topics discussed in this book are Coach K’s upbringing in Chicago, his playing/coaching days at West Point, his relationships with Bob Knight, Jim Valvano, and Dean Smith. His early seasons at Duke, the run from the late 80s through the early 90s, missed opportunities in 99 and 04, his time coaching Team USA, and his adaptation to the one and done. This book criticizes Coach K on certain things. All in all, a good read for any college hoops fan and A Must read for every Blue Devils basketball fan.
