to remember who mike nifong is. He is that slimey, arrogant former Durham County assistant D.A. and unc cheater u alumni and lawyer who is an avid tar heel fan that tried to rail road our Lacrosse team for poilitcal at the expense of withhold evidence that he knew would clear up all accusations at our Lacrosse team. He caused a lot of problems including a great coach losing his job and players ending up transferring and although being completely innocent has had a negative bearing on these young men's lives. tar heel fans he's one of yours. He's still around pumping his slimey money into unc . One of the law enforcement investigators ended up taking his own life also. tar heel fans he's one of yours. Even though he was finally disbarred he only spent one day in jail. Pitiful, just pitiful. One more item that us important. The Duke Lacross team and program was condemned by about 12 professors not from unc but from Duke who to the best of my knowledge never aplogized. Waiting on your sarcastic likes toophly1124. He's one of yours. You guys watch for toophly1124. He trolls this board for post like this from me. For all I know nifong may be toophly1124. It's something nifong would do. OFC

One of the very few times I have been disappointed with K. I understand and respect him not jumping in and abusing his position. But, many others representing Duke jumped in all out against the LAX kids. The school hung the players and coach out to dry. I thought K could have added a voice of reason and neutrality by simply, but strongly stressing the innocent until proven concept at the very least.

K did say that people should wait until all the facts were in before making any judgments. It is a fine line a university rep who is as well known as K has to walk. He has daughters too and understands the concerns parents have about their daughters’ safety on campus. Also, there had been problems with that house before and ongoing complaints. And then, there was underage drinking and hiring strippers. I get that hiring strippers goes in the “boys will be boys” category but it did add to the image of a team gone wild. I thought he did the right thing by suggesting that the school slow its roll.
