How about Tonkin? Pitching well and a great story. Those 3 innings he tossed last night after Wright left were huge.
Amen!!! Chavez has been good out of the pen too. OFCHow about Tonkin? Pitching well and a great story. Those 3 innings he tossed last night after Wright left were huge.
What they do? I’ve jest been watching thru play by play. (Computer animated Idfk bs)9-4 record after SWEEPING the Reds. We didn't actually put on a clinic this series, but not playing your best and still sweeping any MLB club is an achievement. First place in East with two game lead over Mets.
Something MUST be done about Ozuna. We've put up with his lack of production at the plate TOO LONG, and he's a strike out machine. I was glad Braves fans let management really hear their dissatisfaction last nite. It's onto KC for a 3 game set starting Friday nite.

Heard the same thing about the spring tweaks to his swing smash. Expected a much better showing, at least EARLY! He's literally almost hitting air only right now. DFA would be WELCOMED!!Ready to see Ozuna followed by the letters DFA. Crazy thing is he made some good adjustments going into spring training but he let that go real quick.
Ipster, I can't really complain TOO MUCH, since we are holding a VERY, VERY EARLY TWO game lead in the NL EAST.What they do? I’ve jest been watching thru play by play. (Computer animated Idfk bs)
Hart, hope this hasn’t been discussed recently, but what’s up with Ozuna and his coil backswing dinging the catchers helmet several times already this year. Seems like that should be illegalIpster, I can't really complain TOO MUCH, since we are holding a VERY, VERY EARLY TWO game lead in the NL EAST.
The injury bug has bit us early: Fried, D'Arnaud, Harris and haven't heard a report on SS Arcia yet. He took a nasty fastball to the glove wrist last nite, and left the game.
Fielding and pitching have been spotty, Acuna and Olson carrying us offensively. Hope that gives you a nice summary Ipster! #GoBraves

He's just flying wide open on his swing. He had shortened his swing up this spring and was staying more compact. He was able to make more consistent contact. Well, wave that bye bye.Hart, hope this hasn’t been discussed recently, but what’s up with Ozuna and his coil backswing dinging the catchers helmet several times already this year. KD he did the same thing several times last season. That's just Ozuna's broken swing much like @smashmouth5 described. He just flails away and hopes he catches a deep ball. Smh as a Braves fan.Hart, hope this hasn’t been discussed recently, but what’s up with Ozuna and his coil backswing dinging the catchers helmet several times already this year. Yes sir smash! Outside of Ozuna, really not a weak spot in the batting order! Nice win. Today's game at 4pm...Launch mode tonight!
Amazing, you pull those 2 guys out of the lineup and the Bravos keep on keeping on.Injury update and it's not good: CF Michael Harris is eligible to come off the IL Monday, but won't. He still has back issues from slamming into the CF wall making a catch. Harris hasn't even been able to take BP.
Catcher Travis d'Arnaud had concussion like symptoms after a recent collision at home plate. He has a history of concussions, and the Braves will monitor him closely.
Two game lead over Mets headed into play tonite. At KC, and first pitch @ 6:45 after rain delay.

Truly smash. Knock on wood!!! Those are two VERY key pieces of our team. Get well guys! OFCAmazing, you pull those 2 guys out of the lineup and the Bravos keep on keeping on.
Ozzie Albies bat finally got hot tonite. Catcher Sean Murphy is on fire hitting the ball. The two combined to knock in about 7-8 runs. Fun to watch!!11th win came on May 2nd last year.
Scored a nifty nine after a terrific ten last night.
Wooooo when this team gets healthy.
CHOP ON!
We got the brooms out AA, and riding a six game streak into San Diego. This was a much tougher game than the first two at KC, but timely hitting continued to carry us (Vaughn Grissom's perfectly placed hit down the 1st baseline in the 9th) to victory.12-4 with 3 losses to the Padres
I'm attending Tuesday at Petco
I hear ya bleed!! Braves in mid-season form!!!Let's keep it going!
Good article about Murphy in the Atl Journal prior to season. Can’t remember all the details but seems like a great teammate and a guy you wouldn’t mind tossing a few back withWin,win, win......8 STRAIGHT, and the Braves romp over San Diego, 8-1. The outburst came late as we scored three in the 8th, and three more for insurance in the 9th.
Fireballer Spencer Strider pitched beautifully to get the win. Home Runs from Albies, Olsen and Sean Murphy, who's been a pleasant surprise! Get the brooms out and go for sweep today!! Look forward to @Alaskan_Assassin_21 report.

Amen, we have plenty!!! OFCAnd may I add, I'm tired of hearing about all the injuries other teams are dealing with.
smash no doubt buddy, we have definitely got the sticks!!!
Yep smash you said it. We wasted some really good pitching today too. Left too many on base, and the timely hitting we've shown in the winning streak vanished.Somebody forgot and packed the matches in their luggage to head home. Nobody could light the fuse.
Hope so bleed. If Fried is on, we should be OK. Be nice to get a W, and see the Astros leave town.Rough stretch, Hart. Hoping we can start turning things around tomorrow.
937, you are spot-on. Bullpen completely faltered this weekend as the Braves were swept at home by the defending world champ Astros. Once again we wasted excellent starting pitching (Max Fried left in top 7th with a 2-0 lead). Those boys need to get healthy. The bullpen especially.
But Vaughn obviously isn’t ready. Need Trav back to DH.
I won’t even bring up Ozuna..
