Fellow Braves Fans.....

Johann Comargo helps his former team with a two out, two run error in the second followed by a wild pitch so Braves lead 3-0 in the second inning

Phillies starter was cruising but they pulled him after only 5 innings and 78 pitches.

Fried seems to have trouble gripping the ball due to the humidity, but he's battling as always

The grounds crew is doing major construction to repair the mound where the pitcher's foot lands

Incredible job by Fried in the sixth. He had runners on first and second and a 3-0 count with zero outs and wiggled out of it

I love the chargers powder blue and yellow football uniforms, but it looks bad on the Red Sox tonight. I was hoping that it was honoring Ukraine, but Google says that it's the colors of Patriots Day

I wouldn’t be shocked if we traded Ronald. Idk how I’d feel about it. We won it all last year without Ronald . So do we need him or a replacement to do it again, no…We know what’s he’s capable of. Do you trade him right now for a hot young prospect, idk…Our teams set up to win for a long time . He needs to get it together. Our GM needs to be very careful what he does . You know he’s spewing confidence and probably arrogance carried over fr last year…that’s why noting would shock me.

Trading Acuna would shock me. He's very talented and has a very reasonable contract. I admire you for thinking of something that I had not considered.

Ronald is obviously not the same player. His fielding is not even as crisp as last year before the injury. His overall TIMING is just not what it used to be, and his hitting strength is down (ie, balls are falling short instead of clearing the wall). It's almost as if he's playing NOT TO GET RE-INJURED.

Still I do not look for Acuna to be moved, I don't think the Braves are ready to give up on him.I do think we'll see the front office perhaps make a blockbuster or two between now and Sunday, the trading deadline.

Darn. I was really hoping Muller would get promoted to take Ian's place. We need to stableize left field too! Possibly 2b til Ozzie's back.....OFC

Good lord. What an awful take. The dude is hitting .260. Just .20 off his career average. He has 21 stolen bases in the time he’s played this year. He hit leadoff in the All-Star game for crying out loud. With guys like Trea Trurner in the lineup. It’s baseball, EVERYBODY has slumps. You thinking your team needs to trade a top 10 talent in the game blows my mind.
Stick to basketball. I’m sure you’ll call for Jon’s head tho if he loses 2 or 3 ACC games. Can’t wait to read that.

You taking everything I said that way blows my mind ... I got nothin 😂

Idk if you want me to take the bait and say what you said I said/ think I said and elaborate orrrr you just can’t read

I will admit Ronald has a bad taste in my mouth and as a fan of MY team who watches almost every game I KNOW he’s done little to nothing for this team this year. Do I want to trade him, no. Would I be upset, a little . Anytime you bring up stolen bases in your little stats to make a case for a player you don’t know sht. Baseball stats are skewed quite a bit anyway. if you don’t watch every game of the player and just give an opinion based on stats you’re talking out your asz.

I don’t know $hit?! Laughable. I promise you I’ve played and know more about baseball than you’ve ever thought about. How about we be really simple then. Forget his stats. How about the teams stats? What’s their record with him in the lineup vs without it? I promise you when he hits leadoff, EVERYONE is better. When did Swanson get hot? When he moved up to 2nd behind Acuna. Pretty simple really. There is a reason he gets plunked, guys have to throw him in because they know what will happen. Pitchers are trying to pitch around him no matter what kind of “slump” he’s in. Kinda baffling that a “baseball guy” like yourself can’t see that. I’m sure he just has a bad taste in your mouth because he’s flashy, wears gold chains, and has fun. I’m sure you’re some old head that doesn’t like that type of thing. Well maybe you should watch another team because the youth movement is here to stay in Atlanta. I’m sure you hate “Money Mike” too. Hate the chop. The swords. Joc and his pearls. I don’t miss a game this way bud. I know what a difference he makes.

The guy doesn’t make more than 17 million a year through 2028 and you “wouldn’t be surprised if they traded him”… good lord you’re not the brightest.

agree, i'd rather arcia go fulltime and cano spells....but i guess thats what they are doing when the left handed bat of cano is good for the start
This is true Boogie...Going to be an interesting weekend with the trade deadline upon us! OFC

First and foremost I’m 30 years old. And thats me in the photo. EVERYBODY here knows all of your talking out your asss, reaching opinions of me are not even close. If you wanna talk “team stats” the braves were 58-37 with a World Series title without him last year. The braves were a 500. team before. Anything else ?

I think they are going to lean heavily on Yates return to bolster the pen. Not many teams as tight lipped when it comes to a front office and moves as the Braves. AA has earned his money over the last few years and I have no doubt he will do what's best for the Braves now and in the future.

I know there is concern about Acuna right now, and I agree something is off but he has actually worked his way back quicker from a blown out knee than most. You can also go back and look at his stance. I may be wrong but it looks like he has dropped his hands a little and it has led to a more looping swing and caused his hands to be not as quick as they were on the inside pitch.

I'm not quite ready to give up on a 5 tool player that has a very team friendly contract. Let us not forget that it wasn't that long ago when people were debating Austin Riley or Johan Carmargo. Looks like it was a good idea to hold on to Riley.😀

If you have not done so, take a look at what Vaughn Grissom is doing in the minors right now. Really wish he was a LF.

Also some good news...Soroka has been hitting 95 throwing off the mound. Hopefully his health holds up and he can fulfill all that promise.

Let's get some wins this weekend!

CHOP ON!

It wouldn’t shock me is what I said. I Honestly think it be pretty stupid . You won it last year without him why trade a YOUNG star in a slump . One could say well him actually IN THE LINEUP LEADOFF and IN THE OUTFIELD is not the same because he’s hurting us in both. Then one could say well we just lost Duval and we’re thin to begin with! There’s all kind of scenarios that could go back and forth . Which all SHOULD point to not trying to be cute and greedy before the deadline . Again I wouldn’t be “SHOCKED” loose lips! You’re trying to debate something that doesn’t need to be debated

No reason to think it... but I would not be surprised to see the Braves pick up Madison Bumgarner. He's only 32. I thought he was much older. He is nearly shot. Average at best, but he never misses a start. He could eat a bunch of innings to keep the staff fresh for the playoffs. I suspect that Arizona would be happy to dump his large contract that runs through 2024.

Bumgarner is from Hickory. He grew up a Braves fan and usually pitches great in Atlanta. He didn't pitch well last night, but still went six innings

Watched him pitch in high school. He was unreal.
