Remember when Tristan Thompson put the East on notice by saying that even without LeBron, the Cavs still need to be considered the favorites in the conference? Lol that 0-5 start is proving otherwise.

I’m not sure why he said what he did but I interpreted it to mean that Cleveland was the east champs until someone else is. He left himself a little wiggle room there. ; )

Going back and reading the actual quote, I think you're right. But it doesn't help that the media said he called the Cavs the favorites in their article Titles. Looks like they had to change the titles eventually, judging by the difference between the current title and the urls.
