If so you witnessed close to a perfect officiated game. The only thing I could see that could have been improvement on was the lack of personal fouls called on GT. UNC only got to the free throw line 11 times. GT was pretty brutal in fouling the UNC players. I guess the officials just took pity on Tech. UNC could have put up 120 points but HOF Coach Roy Williams pulled the dogs off early. Heels are back.

@_andrewcarter "don't sit over there and feel like we have to entertain you." Yeah, it's not like college bball is entertainment or anything

I love the line "That's not meant to be a criticism but its a criticism."

I never fault a coach for trying to get some help from the fanbase!! Crowds all around the country are getting worse, loud raucous venues are a big part of college basketball

I'm actually not even mad at Roy for saying this. UNC has some of the laziest, most entitled fans I've seen at a blue blood school.

It appears that, much like UNC "student"-athletes, UNC fans feel like they can do nothing and still get something in return.

UNC fans are as worthless as UNC degrees.

Basically. It does my head in listening to them try to justify their fans' piss-poor enthusiasm at games. On one hand it's hilarious and I hope they never turn it around, but on the other, it's exasperating because their logic makes no sense. "It's up to the players to make big plays to get the crowd into it." Every other teams' fans understand how players can feed off of the emotion of a the crowd but not UNC's. And then in other threads they wonder why recruits don't seem as impressed with the Heels these days. What's there to like? They're a program with the NCAA axe dangling over their heads headed by a coach that stakes his life on trying to make square peg players fit into a round hole system and they play their home games in a baby blue tomb. That wouldn't leave a good impression on me either!

Roy was upset the w(H)ine-&-cheesers didn't have enough "savvy" to recognize his early game salute to Coach McClend- , uhhh , Smith. Here he is turning to the crowd to get the reaction he wanted and didn't get...

Not sure what thread to post this in, but this seemed as appropriate of a one as possible. I just wasted an embarrassingly long amount of time staring at the picture comparison in the THR thread for "Recruits at the GT game". Troll baby put a picture of ingram and his parents at Duke and UNC that day- since he went to both.

The picture according to him is to show that his parents are having a much better time at DES vs CIS. I stared at that picture for probably 5 mintutes, blowing it up even to see if i could see anything at all. I dont know if he was trying to make a joke, if so good on him, bad on me. But there is zero difference what so ever.

Not to mention i dont even need to go into the fact that you can take two different pictures at any given time and spin it the way you'd like. But i just found it hilarious so i'd share.
