Just watched a few videos of him. Looks like he has potential to be a good outside shooter. If he grows inch or so and puts on weight he may develop into good wing/ forward in a few years.

I'm excited over the fact that K is putting together a good stable of 3 & 4 year players. Under K's tutelage, when these guys are juniors and seniors, they will have a legit shot at winning a NC. For us as fans, it also means an opportunity to witness stability within the program over an extended period of time. This year was exciting and the next few years should be exciting in a different kind of way.

IMO his ceiling is Evan Nolte. He'll be a nice practice player and will accept any role given to him. And he is a nice athlete.

I agree though. I think K is loading up on the long term projects for a final run at a title in 4 years to mix them with the stars of the '18 class which will be another super class like '16. I think we have 4-5 seasons left with him.

I read some recent scouting reports on him and all of them say the same things. Justin csn really shoot the ball well. He has a very good basketball IQ, he is growing and now up to 6-8 200 and his athleticism is under rated. What is being mentioned is he's a mix of Lee M and David Mc. Not sure how Duke will use him or if he will redshirt but he has upside and has ability.

I haven't seen him play at all, and I kind of feel silly in asking this, but I lost track somehow, as I'm sure a few others have, so I will be the dummy and ask! I know he is a preferred walk-on, but will he be a Freshman next year and dress with the team? Will he be eligible to play next year?
If he will be a Freshman, do you think he will redshirt? I promise I will do my best to remember this time if someone will be patient and explain his situation to an OF (that's old fart for those of you that don't know)!
Go Duke!!

Hey guys, didn't want to bump this back up to the top, but I posted on this late and I guess it kind of got away. Maybe someone would comment on my questions above? Thanks - -

I believe he will not only dress with the team but he will play 4-6 minutes per game.
I believe he will not redshirt and will have basketball scholarship within a year.

If we don't have Ingram, he'll be the only SF type player on the roster (assuming he's more mobile than Amile). That may earn him significant spot duty defending against scoring wings. He fills the gap between Luke and Amile on D.
