I don't think Duke wants to give Maryland the reward of having Duke at their place in K's last year. They'd probably throw things at him.

I cannot imagine what Md fans would do. Happy they are not part of the ACC anymore. Only time I will ever pull for them is when they play cheater u or UK. OFC

The OSU - Duke game should be a very good one. OSU has a veteran team returning and should be in the top 2 or 3 of the B1G. Their problem, though, is their fans don't get nowhere near as pumped up for top college basketball games as they do for football (a whole different level)

UK, Gonzaga, Ohio State all in November. Pretty dang strong schedule. Duke isn't avoiding anybody. a sweep of those three games would be a hell of a start if that happens. I believe we beat Kentucky easily, the other two I think will be tough games, but this team and it's coaches will be on a mission!

Someone else told me that also, but I haven't seen it anywhere. If so, that's a pretty brutal string of games!!

That's a tough stretch for a young team.

Last season we failed the early challenges. Hopefully this group will use the summer and early fall to be ready to hit the ground running in November.

Great early tests, but you never know if it means anything. Let's not forget that we started out 0-2 in 99.
That said, I will be disappointed if we don't go 3-1 or better (including MSU).

Duke will definitely make the Tournament this year. Winning in November is nice, but improvement is much more important. Nothing wrong with losing at Ohio State or to Gonzaga in Las Vegas
