Anybody seen that new Tom Hardy crime/mobster show on Paramount+? I haven’t yet and was curious about it.

Imo this season is a blue print for the depth and style the coaching staff wants to play moving forward. 10-11 guys who are capable of contributing on any given night, Defend at a high level, share the ball on the offensive end, and are “Together”.

If you are a “Me 1st type of player” then Duke isn’t recruiting you

If Pat and Brown return will one be ok not starting? Cause big Boozer is starting. If we won the title next year is a bonus so I will not worry.

On my post I meant it to read as “blue and shey, I completely forgot about Henderson as an incoming Frosh” in my original post I know I left out the comma which made it seem like you and blue forgot about Henderson lol

Billy was pretty damn rotten that night and I say that as someone who liked the old curmudgeon. He was Snarky, Smarmy, and you’re absolutely right that he contributed to it big-time. Remember that one comment he goes: “and Mike Krzyzewski said great job and he was referring to his players.” 🙄

Wonder how many CBS execs he gave a heart attack to in the first half of the 2008 final four with his infamous “This game is Ovah” remark when Kansas went up 20+ points on the Heels? And you could tell Jim Nantz was nervous about such an early proclamation by his reaction to it.

Here is that exchange after a Kansas player hits a three.

Billy Packer: This game is OVAH
Jim Nantz: Is it?!
Billy Packer: It is!
Jim Nantz: Wow!


That was Packers last Final Four. And the Heels did cut it to single digits in the second half.

I put Foster coming back at less than 20%

Houston gonna find a far superior Duke team to the one they lost to a year ago. (Insert IC’er comment in this space regarding Houston player getting hurt last year while applying full stage Alzheimer’s to Duke being without two players against them in the ACC Tournament. 🙄)

But regarding the four teams this weekend, you’re talking about four of the highest rated Ken Pom teams ever if you believe in that sort of thing.

Evans could play the 3.

If we score a pg in the portal I think you still move Evans or Foster to the sg spot as a combo guard . If Cayden starts it’s because both bolted to the portal and Duke didn’t get a starting caliber pg .
If the starting spot is Cayden’s then you loose Evans, Foster and Harris to the portal . Imo

Let me add that Mira Sorvino is a good actress and a smart and well rounded person.

He did great as John Holmes in the wonderland murders .

Not to dunk on Foster but is Foster or Boozer a starting PG on a final four team? This year we have Proctor and Sion. Think Jon gets 1 or 2 portal guards if Proctor leaves. It is very likely we lose all 5 starters.

I doubt I’m the only one to think this but I’m not sure we will realistically see a better team than this one for a while. (Doesn’t mean we won’t have a chance to win a ship next year but this team is special ) One more w and we will get to watch this group the maximum possible amount of times.

The Doors is another one. Flipping amazing performance. He was a good Batman in an awful Batman film. Yeah, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is good!

I have a feeling watching Big Pat and Booz in the frontcourt is going to be a beautiful thing, but first...LET'S GET #6!

If we win #6 they can all leave they have done their job.

I actually think Gillis could be an X factor in this game. He can rebound and I think he will get open looks.

All I know is this game scares the hell out of me...

Proctor is leading the NCAA Tournament with the most 3PT Field Goals Made. Hope He Continues His Excellent Shooting!
