We've said it before, that when you have big pharma, big tech, and other power players, making huge donations to certain outlets, they have bought (and controlled) what gets said. The best example I know off the top of my head is the awful, and dishonest coverage of Covid and the vaccines. Two things happened during that time that were criminal, which is why so many that leaned right of center were outraged. First, mental health issues skyrocketed. The other one was even worse, which is people died. They intentionally withheld valuable information from the public. Information that could have saved lives. But they were so into pushing the vaccine down everyone's throat. At the expense of lives, and so they could increase their wealth. They don't give 2 shits about any of us, which makes it worse when arguing with hacks like @Dattier. He refuses to even consider this, much less agree with us.

The lust for $$ is eroding our world. We see it in sports too.
Says the guy throating Walmart, savior of his community. 🤣
Lemme guess: the money problems you see in sports are with the greedy, greedy athletes, not the billionaire owners waiting to run a train on you once Walmart finishes.

That link came up as "forbidden 401" for me. Everything else I've found says she posted a video or appeared in a video where others were chanting it. And I found an explanation she offered of it, just like that link I provided yesterday said: "[The slogan is a] call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death, destruction, or hate." Is it possible that people who truly do want to destroy Israel would claim that's what it means? Of course. Is it possibly an accurate meaning for some who use it? Also of course. Between the absolute nature of your interpretation on the one hand, and sources that acknowledge your interpretation and identify other interpretations on the other hand, I'll take the latter all freakin day every day. But call me a sheep for seeing more than just a single alarmist, emotional, dramatic, extremist interpretation.

I told you yesterday: You will get nowhere with me trying to sell extremist propaganda as objective truth.
Because you don’t like what the chant means, that it doesn’t fit the narrative that you support anti- war activists not genicidal antisemites, doesn’t mean that you get to change the universally accepted meaning of the chant.
Go to the nearest pro- Pally “protest” and ask them what it means to them. Ask them which river, which sea they’re referring to.
You’ll quickly see the level of hate and ignorance you have chosen to associate with.
Question: why were demonstrations for a ceasefire occurring on Oct 8 before Israel even retaliated? Why were they vilifying Israel immediately after the most brutal terror attack in Israel’s history?

Meh. The statues are meant to memorialize the injustice of his murder, but I can see how conservative, police brutality apologists could be bamboozled into thinking they're about idolizing the way he lived his life. It's an easier thing to accept toward the all-important goal of feeling superior. Kinda like the way the other conservatives here (not you) like to claim they know what I think.
Interesting.

Never deserved a statue to begin with.

Exactly. I remember my MIL (82 years old at the time), talking about his funeral. She literally thought it was for someone of royalty. I jokingly said that funeral was for King George.

At a time where thousands of people were losing loved ones and weren't even allowed to hold services, this guy got paraded around the country like he was Abraham Lincoln and had THREE services with hundreds of people gathering. Such a joke.

This. But I don’t even think he believes half the stuff he types. It’s just that he is in so deep, he has to argue in bad faith to stick to the script. It’s not a Dat thing though, it’s the ideology of the left. I’ve seen the media convince these people over the last 10 years that men can be women and vice versa. I’m 100% sure they don’t actually believe this, but again, they have to stick to whatever the current msm script is.
🤣 ^This child thinks he knows what everyone else thinks.

All I care about is winning our next 4 games. With that said, Carrawell started following Donovan Dent on X(New Mexico PG) he's a dog. Dent will be one of the top transfers in the country, and he seems like a team first guy.

There was a brief period yesterday when it was rumored that Young Pitino was going to Villanova and bringing Dent with him. Now that he's at Xavier, this is good for us. Rumors are Xavier will lack the NIL funds to land Dent. Gotta think Duke could get him now.

But again, win the title this year and next year is gravy, though it looks like we will be really good again.
