Just what does the left offer that is worth listening to? All I see out of the left is that nothing of any substance ever gets offered, but a constant assault on the right and their character does.

I'm genuinely curious. Please give some examples of ideas. What has your candidate offered other than how bad Trump is?
Do you mean the real Kamalie of 2019 who wants to ban fracking and off shore drilling or the media created, say whatever it takes to get elected Kamalie of 24?
I think they should resurrect Cash for Clunkers

I've been thorough and consistent in explaining how pointless it is to attempt this conversation with you and how conceding anything never helps. I've pointed out an example within the last page or so. I've told you a 100% one way stance won't work, so you've doubled-down. lol

This isn't my first day here, and I'm usually facing off against multiple conservatives with rare support from anyone else. Not a complaint. Just a statement of fact. I'm plenty confident of my intellect and knowledge of certain subjects. I have never needed validation from anyone here and would have disappeared long ago if I did. As you will continue to see if you keep badgering me about this, is that I am so confident I can ignore your childish insults about how little I know forever. What I've asked for as of yesterday has been a good faith gesture that y'all can even acknowledge solid points from the other side of the aisle. You yourself have acknowledged on this very page that I make "a lot of good points," but it's not really about me and it wasn't specific. It's kind of like adding, "Some of them, I'm sure, are good people," to the end of a statement trashing a group of people.
You haven’t made any solid points other than to say it’s complicated without providing a single example of how. As usual, you engage in moral equivocation/ shades of gray arguments lacking in specifics. You do make good points on occasion but on this topic you haven’t made any, good or bad.
Yes, I hope Israel wins this war and wipes out all the terrorists as I support the lone democracy in the region over radical Islamists who also want to destroy the US and would kill us all if they had the chance.
You seemed to appreciate my compliment earlier; now you’re pretending it was an insult?

As usual you ignore the questions you can’t answer. What isHezbollah resisting? Iran?
The Left refuses to acknowledge that Jew hatred is at the root of this conflict. The Arabs in the region supported the Nazis during the 30s and The Grand Mufti met with Nazi leaders trying to get them to slaughter all the Jews in the region.
In case you’re confused, this is before 1948.
The extreme Left of your party wants to withhold all funding to Israel, which would render them defenseless if the ballistic attacks of April were repeated.

That’s rich coming from you, someone so desperate for validation of his intelligence that he practically begs for it on a message board.

I literally said I was not passing judgment (here) on either side. I even referred to it as perceived oppression specifically to avoid validating the claims of oppression and ruffling your delicate, snowflake sensibility.

Like I said, no concession toward middle ground is ever enough with you or several other conservatives here. You are so intellectually fragile and insecure that anything short of complete and total agreement feels like an attack. You can't handle anything more complex.

You can give me all the information in the world you think I lack on this topic. If it takes a 100% one side stance -- and you do -- it will fall on deaf ears. Your attempts to simplify a very complicated situation are insulting to those involved and to any rational discussion of it. And the same applies to those people on my side of the aisle who can just as articulately and statistically put forth a 100% pro-Palestine stance.
They keep turning down statehood because they refuse to recognize the state of Israel or to live alongside Jews. How is that complicated?

You're too emotional to participate in anything but a pep rally for one side.

The majority Muslim areas ( Gaza and Judea, I mean the West Bank I’ll play along) have been governed by Hamas and the Palestinian Authority respectively for almost 20 years. Thousands of Gazans are allowed into Israel to work each day despite almost daily terror attacks Most are thwarted before they actually kill Jews. The fact that the msm doesn’t report each event doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
Not to mention daily rocket attacks from Hezbollah to the north. What are they resisting exactly? What’s Iran resisting? They’re behind most of this.
You can own this as well. Iran didn’t have the $ to finance these wars until Biden lifted oil sanctions and put billions back into their war machine. They were crippled when Trump left office. So when you reflexively fall back into your tired narratives, it makes me wonder if you actually think the “Palestinians” are oppressed or if you just simply do not know what you are talking about.

Another justification of Oct 7 from a confused Leftist. Rape and beheading civilians is not revolution or resistance. You should be ashamed of yourself. Babies were cut out of their mother’s wombs.
Don’t you dare try to justify that asshole

Simplifying it is the problem. That's like saying if a group who believes they are oppressed accepts what they perceive as oppression, no more conflict, and that's acceptable. It's only acceptable to the people on the other side, who are then not inconvenienced. It's just like the parent who tells a kid to stop crying or they'll give them something to cry about: It doesn't actually address or even attempt to address why the kid is crying; it just wants to shut them up for the parent's convenience. In neither case as presented here -- the perceived oppression nor the kid crying -- am I judging who is right or wrong.

One of the primary reason rebellions, revolutions, riots, insurrections, and other political or social violence occurs in the first place is because one group feels like doing nothing is a guarantee of their own demise, and doing anything is better than nothing. So your "no more war" scenario would mean Palestinians accept conditions they already feel are destroying them. Same with the January 6th incident: many of the people involved felt that accepting the result of the 2020 Presidential election would be destroying something they held dear about their country. In neither case as presented here -- Palestinians nor January 6th participants -- am I judging who is right or wrong.

I reject any narrative that sees one side as inherently, 100% good or evil, same with American politics.

Oh so now you know what it feels like to be a “Palestinian”. You know nothing about this conflict other than your own preconceptions about the “oppressed”.
You mention nothing about Hamas’ charter which calls for the destruction of Israel or the fact that the majority of “Palestinians” support Hamas.
They’ve been offered statehood countless times but turn it down each time because their real goal is the killing of all Jews not a state.
You continue to embarrass yourself discussing a topic of which you know absolutely nothing. You’re trying to fit this conflict into your oppressed/ oppressor narrative and it simply isn’t applicable.
Thanks for bringing J6 up again as well.
