What are you gonna miss most about hof coach roy williams.

I loved when he would blame every player for every loss and then say "I guess it's my coaching". As if that would erase all the throwing under the bus.

A close second would be not using the time outs. I only watch UNX when they are losing (and even then I turn it off so as not to jinx the opponent) but when the other team would go on a run and Roy would just sit there. It would be painful if it weren't so funny!

Amen, he even did it yesterday. Another sign of a super sized, overinflated ego......OFC

That press conference was pure Roy. Love him or hate him, he's a legend and we will miss him for a variety of reasons. Wanda's nanner puddin, 3rd person, daggumit, frickin, aw shucks, and I don't give a shit about Carolina. So many great Royisms.

Ol Roy did everything wrong, yet he was successful. Even yesterday he said that the losses were his fault and then described how they would have won if Bacot had boxed out or Leaky hadn't thrown the ball away. His ego is enormous. He called his wife Wicked Wanda. My mother would have changed the locks if my dad said that in a press conference. And that was the ugliest of all his ugly ties yesterday. His health is not good enough for the power squat.

I hate to admit it but Roy was an excellent coach. His low moment, however, was when he had an opposing fan thrown out at the Dean Dome for yelling "miss it!" during the shooting of a free throw by one of his players.

While that was low, I think the cheating scandal is probably his lowest moment.

I still can't believe he the gall to actually point the fan out have him escorted off HIS court. But if you think about it that's him. He's a tar heel He can't help it. It's his arragant nature. Yep I'm gonna miss stupid moments like that. OFC

I’d go with when after a little slump mid year he empathized with the victims of hurricane ravaged Haiti by saying he knows what they feel like when his team lost a couple of games. That was digging a deeper bottom even for Roy

Roy being Roy. I'll say that he was very complimentary of our 2010 team that spanked his team's tail on Duke's senior night. You know, there's a lot of Duke/Carolina games that get mentioned as the best ever. But that one, while not the best, is my favorite. His reaction to it in the postgame made it all the better too.

I will miss all the Trust in Roy type homers on the Carolina boards defending all his stupid decisions like letting Playtex in the games or not using timeouts.
