Yes, it's horrifying and heartbreaking.
Here's how media is covering it, as far as I can tell:
The BBC quotes the FBI as saying it was a "'targeted act of violence,' and they are investigating it as an 'act of terrorism'."
ABC says we're seeing record numbers of antisemitic and anti-Islamic attacks
What CBS knows so far, as of 23 hours ago
NBC says the accused attacker has no regrets
I can't figure out how to search MSNBC's site to tell you what they are saying.
FoxNews includes Colorado's Democratic Jewish Governor among politicians condemning the attack
CNN has firewalls on its articles so I didn't even bother to look.

Did I miss any of the big ones?
I'll also note there were pages and pages of articles or/and videos at many of those sites. Many of them include info on the accused's family being in ICE custody, scheduled for deportation, their deportation being stayed, still being in ICE custody.

How do you find the media is covering this?

It is frustrating seeing opportunities go wasted. I have pretty much checked out because nothing is happening. Okay, the border is situated, that's great. But between the flip flopping on tariffs and this Trump endorsed spending bill, it has been a big letdown, IMO. They offered to break the bill up and vote separately so he could push through what he could get to pass and debate the other stuff. But he wanted 1 big beautiful bill that has all kinds of waste in it and is losing support by the hour. So I am going to have to go with the South African Hitler on this one.

Also, to be clear, that's awful. LAPD and the LA Sheriff do not cooperate with ICE, which is what the protesters were protesting to begin with... and yet they turn on LAPD and LA Sheriff when they try to stop them from going too far with ICE. It's like a countless number of fights I've broken up where I've then become the deliberate target.

And also-also, that very same link contains multiple short reports about what's going on, including one where Gov Newsome is quoted saying the administration should rescind the deployment and that our President is trying "to manufacture a crisis... hoping for chaos so he can justify more crackdowns, more fear, more control."

I renew my lol because while technically the National Guard has been deployed before, deploying them for something completely different IS creating history. It's not the same.
