Great quote. My favorite Dr. King quotations are the uncomfortable ones that challenge people. (While inspiring and very relevant culturally and historically, most of the "I Have a Dream" speech doesn't really qualify as challenging anymore, for example. Most of us have accepted the gist of that.)

lol. Judging someone based on the content of their character and not the color of their skin is the exact opposite of quotas in hiring and school admissions that your side has supported for decades.

I understand why you see it that way.

I wonder how many liberals out there are saying to themselves that if they hadn’t cheated four years ago, they wouldn’t have to worry about Trump now.
Not as many as you’d think I’d wager. Self reflection is not their strong suit, especially the ones afflicted with TDS.
Looks like the Left is taking a break from calling for genocide and will now take to the streets protesting the deportations. Where were they when Obama was President? More selective outrage from the usual suspects.

You are erroneously assuming that cheating in 2020 is a foregone conclusion that any rational person accepts. It's sort of like saying 'what if President Reagan had taken AIDS seriously in 1982?', which -- hatred of gay people aside and among the many, many things President Reagan did wrong that have had such cataclysmically detrimental results today -- is a little unfair, as there really wasn't any way to anticipate that AIDS would be the big thing we know it to be in retrospect.

Regardless, there was no election fraud in 2020, so no liberals or intelligent Republicans are 'shucking their corn' over the alternate Universe where you have a clue and we'd be done with President Trump as the 45th and only the 45th POTUS right now.

From what I remember from US History in my junior year of high school in 1988-1989, the Warren Report sealed the findings of the JFK assassination for 75 years, which would be another 12 years (from the assassination) or thereabouts. I also understood at the time that that timeline was to make it more likely that Jackie, Caroline, and Jr might be dead and wouldn't have to go through the triggering public disclosure of it, which is sweet and all, but never impressed me as a priority over the spirit behind the FOIA, passed in 1966.

Therefore, I see no reason this isn't a great EO, pending what the mainstream media tells me to think instead. A tentative thumbs-up from me to our 47th President, Donald J Trump, for this one specific EO.
I should pin this reply lol.

Feel free. I'm not scared of truth. Never have been. It will only help my case when I dare criticize President Trump in a logical, rational manner at some later date and someone -- @Mac9192 , most likely -- accuses me of being a sheep and dismisses me as someone who twists everything for my political agenda. You know, projecting what conservatives do here onto me.

I double-dog dare you.
You won't, because you're no different from the other conservative hypocrites here.

You forget what a stark contrast between President Trump and Biden when it comes to the media. Trump has answered more questions in 3 days than Biden had for months.

Well, the birthright citizenship is constitutional. The EO probably won't stand. But I support Congress making an Ammendment to address the abuse of birthright citizenship. It wasn’t put in the constitution to be used as an out to breaking the law. We should address the process of legal citizenship and make it easier for people who do it the right way and plan on being productive members of society and raising a family. We shouldn't make it easier for the people who abused the asylum system or crossed the border illegally to stay here without fear of deportation.

"If' cheating took place when not in control and then didn't also take advantage of said cheating and get some key Senate seats through said cheating efforts.....then why while having all the levers of power at hand, didn't engage in said cheating again?

No election fraud.
Let that sink in folks. None. Zero. In an election in which 150 million voted, in which there were millions of mail in ballots which required no voter Id or signature verification, Datt has declared that there was ZERO voter fraud. Oh, did I mention ballot harvesting where ballots are routinely filled out by a comm organizer or some such individual.
Astonishing claim that defies logic, human nature, and all things holy in one fell swoop

'Blatantly unconstitutional': US judge temporarily blocks Trump's ban on birthright citizenship

Thoughts? I mean, y'all have an additional 39 EOs from his first day to defend, by my count. Anyone wanna take up this one? The link is to FoxNews, which I presume you trust enough to accept that a Reagan-appointed judge did, in fact, temporarily block that particular EO.
It may be an uphill climb in the courts. It needs to be changed though. They’re gaming the system. They wait until they’re pregnant to come here. Then chain migration kicks in, enabling them to use their kids as anchor babies.
Needs to be changed.

1. No pandemic to take advantage of to push through an unprecedented number of unverified mail-in ballots.

2. They did cheat as always.

3. It was too big to rig.

Obama’s best total was 69 million. So to jump from that number to 81 million with Sleepy (hide in the basement) Biden, and say it was on the up and up? You have your head buried in the sand.

But, it worked out for the better. The nation was so ready for Trump.

My "ZERO" was in reference to how many liberals wish President Trump just finished his 2nd term based on mac's hypothetical, but I did go on to say there was no fraud.

My bad. There were 238 documented cases of voter fraud nationwide between 2020 and 2024. Many were from elections before 2020, and related to local elections and referendums, but let's give you the biggest number possible.

I have now provided more factual documentation of voter fraud than you have. Suspicions are not proof.

Expanding the ways people can cast a ballot increases turn-out. Who knew?

It worked out the way elections are supposed to work out, both in 2020 and 2024: the rightful winner won.

Trump is President again. The election he lost fair and square in 2020 is in the rearview. See, this is why I've told you you are going to be miserable for another 4 years even with President Trump: you still can't let go of the past; you still can't accept the existence of different opinions. What was the analogy I used last time? You're like the kid at the end of the bench who is only on the team because your aunt is the coach's wife, and you're screaming about a call you don't agree with in the closing seconds of a blow-out victory.

This past election was roughly 77 mil Trump 75 mil Harris...right?

The Constitution is difficult to amend on purpose, for exactly this kind of situation.

Have you ever been at a broken stoplight? One that wouldn't change? Eventually, people run it. It would be ridiculous to hold them accountable for that when the system is broken. You see where I'm going with that?

You can come back with another one of your idiotic replies, but it's a fact. Like Ghost said, this one was too big to rig. We are also finding that we finally have a President that is going to look out for America. Been a long time since we can say that. Is he going to not act "Presidential" at times? Yes. But, I'll take it.

And he's already been more active in 4 and a half days than Biden was in 1 year.

This times one hundred. He went to NC today and is now headed to CA. He actually listens to the people and then decides what needs to be done. Where the hell was the Biden administration during the floods in NC? Oh yeah, they thought FEMA took care of everyone with the $750 disbursement, but in reality they were taking care of the illegal aliens.

You're going to a pretty dumb place with that. TBH. We're not talking about people who are going through the steps of legal citizenship and getting frustrated by the process. We're talking about people who skipped the process all together. You know, the people who flat out ran the stoplight without waiting for it to turn green.

So people didn’t run up to Trump’s investigators and say “ I’m guilty. Throw me in jail! “
Hard to believe

True. And that the nation went back to Trump after four years of Biden speaks to what a disaster Joe’s presidency was.

I believe the amendment talks about under the jurisdiction of a country. Entering illegally means you are still under the jurisdiction of your home country so your child would be as well. It was never intended for those that broke the law to enter the country. It was intended for slaves that were brought here against their will. No way the original writers could have envisioned it being used this way. The good thing about Trump's EO is that is causing a conversation and will force it to be taken through the courts. Once the courts has its say then a discussion about adjusting the constitution can begin. That will be difficult, as it should be, but that is how these things start.
