Dude, I love Scanners, The Fly, Naked Lunch, M. Butterfly, The Brood, The Dead Zone, Eastern Promises, etc. I'm a Cronie. I don't know if that's a term to describe Cronenberg fans or not. But that is what I am. Though, I haven't loved his last few. Maps to the Stars was good, Crimes of the Future didn't do a lot for me. Well shot, acted, and scored, but it didn't go anywhere.
I'm a big early King fan so I loved the Dead Zone. The Fly is another classic.
If you enjoy King, you need to check out Joe R. Lansdale, Brian Keane, and Robert McCammon, and do you like Clive Barker?
I like The Thief of Always by Barker. McCammon I've tried. But no one makes horror relatable and believable like early S. King.
Check out Swan Song, and They Thirst by McCammon, dude! I love the Books of Blood from Barker. The Scarlet Gospels wasn't super well received, but I enjoyed it! A buddy of mine met Barker a few years back!
Watching the NIT Championship, they just said the women's FF ticket prices were three times the price of the men's FF. I'm betting those ratings will be shite on Saturday and Monday.
I'm expecting next week, but I thought Mitchell would be next week and he pulled the trigger early. Also, expecting Lively to announce early next week (NBA).

It's all good, 44. Yeah, I even acknowledged he was way more in tune with what was going on. For the record, I do get my info from someone outside of forums and social media. I can't believe I have to defend myself over it, but it's cool. I'm trash and scum.
I remember, Show. I try to get along with everyone. Honestly, outside of the true successor to K, who only showed up in losing game-day threads, I haven't had any issues with anyone other than the occasional spat. And even he was harmless.
I've rarely, if ever, had something on here bug me after leaving the board. But this did, and with countless people using the exact words I was using to describe the vagueness of the situation, I got singled out. I tried to laugh it off, but it was so weird. But I woke up today knowing Duke is in good shape, and it's all good.

Just what I’ve heard. I could be wrong and it certainly wouldn’t be the first time. I would guess early next week for Lively (NBA) and mid to late next week for Flip (return).
OAD isn’t going anywhere! Though I do think the influx of guys going to the GLeague will increase, we will still be seeing plenty of guys playing college basketball that could be in the NBA.
I figured that would happen as neither side really had anything to gain by changing the status quo. I know some fans were expecting a different outcome, but I think it was wishful thinking as much as anything.
I am not a fan in any way of the OAD era, but I don't think it's going anywhere. So if you're 18 years old coming out of high school, and you can go to the G-league or a high profile college program with some NIL money, my question is this......which route gets your "brand" more exposure? Does anyone watch the G League? Why wouldn't a top rated player go to a Duke, or Kentucky or Arizona, etc for a year where they would get national TV exposure and build their brand?
I've never seen a second of G League action. Nor do I care to. I've never seen it on TV although admittedly I've never looked for it. Unless people get called up they seem to vanish. Do they get good ratings?
There are athletes forced to either transfer or go pro if they play for a top tier/blue blood school. It's called recruiting. Now with that NIL money, players have more options. Lose scholly with NIL because of recruiting, and you may be able to transfer to another school with NIL money.
