Maybe. I think they will still be in the tournament, but we don't usually see Kansas with 10 losses. Them and the Zags and UConn are Michigan Stating it this year. (high ranked preseason teams who underperform; then everyone is shocked when they win a few tournament games). Kentucky will likely be a 5 or 6 seed; any chance at a run depends on them getting 2 injured guys back. They seem reasonably happy with Pope; but were hoping to give Auburn a closer game at home. It is an entire team build from the portal. Next year will be key for Pope.

Was at dinner during this game. The TV froze right when he took the shot and it came back as they were celebrating. Was a pretty unlikely finish for Tennessee as they were down 4 with 32 seconds left.

I really thought after the fight they put up against Louisville they’d give Unc-Chapel Hill Branch a better game than they have. Hubie’s lineup tweak has helped, but only in beating the teams they should be to this point.

My oldest son is VA Tech alum and my youngest son is a sophomore now. Great school. Great environment. Tons of support in that community. And an amazing football experience if you ever get the chance.

I watched the game tonight and Tech is really soft on both ends but I have to say UNC looked improved tonight. Good ball movement and pressure defense. First time I’ve seen them since we ran them out of the gym. But nothing I saw concerned me. They pressed for 30 minutes. No way they can maintain that against us and not burn out their starters. Stay out of foul trouble and no injuries and I think we win going away by 15.

We will agree to disagree on this one bleed. Unc doesn’t defend well. They don’t have the bigs to keep up with Duke. Cadeu can’t shoot. Duke’s defense will overwhelm unc like it did on February 1st. Duke Should Win by at least 15 points on Saturday night.

Could see the Duke Coaching Staff employing the same approach they did leading up to the game against Illinois, shutting down the 3 point line for unc and making them try to score inside the paint

Cheats are 3rd or 4th team from the field so it will take a win against us and at minimum a run to the championship game in the ACC tournament. I said it 3 weeks ago and I stand by it- cheats are done. I’d agree they have improved, but that works out in our favor because it will keep Hubert around and he’s a piss poor coach.

No matter if we think the ACC isn’t as bad as what it’s perceived by the media, it is a down year and that’s the truth. In a normal ACC year, they would be in with 11 or 12 losses, but not this year. #GTHC

I wrongfully predicted a closeish 10 point game the first game we played UNC and we blew them out. We should win by 15 or 20 and might.
BUT
they are playing much better now. They start 2 bigs, and are playing more like a first 4 teams in type team the last 6 games. Not as good as us; but the gap has closed.
It's a rivalry game, and difficult to blow out a decent team twice.
They are at home, and it's basically a play in game they need to win.
All that said; we should still win. But I would be surprised if it is easy; at least early on. I'd say us by 14.
