Other Games 24-25 Season

Our Achilles heel will be like every year.. Our youth. You have to be so much better and alot less room for error when playing against 22 to 25 year olds.

Blue,

These Blue Devils have a very good mix of Veterans and Frosh

Veterans:

James
Proctor
Gillis
Brown

Proctor and Gillis have played in some high profile tournament matchups their whole careers.

These Blue Devils are constructed like the 2014-2015 Blue Devils when it comes to Veterans and Frosh

St. John's plays Creighton today. Michigan State is quietly having a good year. Ranked 11th and beat Illinois by 14 yesterday. Izzo passes Knight for most Big 10 wins.

I don’t see us getting pushed around. We do have some studs with our transfers and Cooper is just so skilled. Kon is a big guy that’s pretty darn tough the way he throws his body around. Slim and Maluach are the two that concern me wihen playing physical teams. As for as rebounds. I think we will be more dialed in as we face bettter teams.

Don’t think youth bites us this year
I think if Foster can start playing better coming off the bench we will be hard to beat. Add Evans to the mix of hitting key 3s and Duke will be deadly. They cant come out flat though like they have in a few games. Their D has improved so much since playing Auburn which is huge. Some days Man plays like he is the second coming of Shaq and then other days it is like they pulled him from the crowd. All that being said...can they make it to the end yes...I just don't see it.

Inopportune injury for Illinois, one of their starters Johnson Jr is out with a broken wrist. He sustained the injury on Saturday Night against Michigan State.

Johnson Jr. is the Illini’s energy guy and their most athletic player.

I know a lot of you don't follow the Women's games that much but they have a HUGE game tonight. If they can hang with ND and even keep it within 5 or 6 they stand a huge chance of making the Final Four. This game will tell a lot. I feel that if they can keep Toby they can hang a banner in Cameron. Anyways....back to Men's basketball!

I'm probably like many people, I followed for a couple season while Caitlin Clark was at Iowa. I haven't followed any this season

Just took a look at the box score of Baylor/Zona game and didn't know Roach didn't even start. He played 22 minutes and went 2-9, 1-4 from 3. Who woulda thought Blakes having better stats than Roach!!??

Can you imagine if Kansas drops to an 8 seed and some one seed gets them in the round of 32? Michigan is having a good year and is now a 4 seed

Bunch of Illinois players are sick to the point Brad Underwood didn't have his players shake hands at the end of the game against Wisconsin. In the postgame press conference he said...

“In 38 years I’ve never seen anything like what is going through our team.”
